Called at noon yesterday.  No message.  These people, if it's really the American Lung Association, have been calling me since December of last year.

They also use (202) 747-7305 (the number they have been using the most), (630) 491-0178, and (786) 358-9546.  Never any message from any of these numbers either, which could all be "spoofed".

I'd never give to a charity over the phone, esp. when you can't be sure it's really a charity.  If I decide to donate to American Lung, I will call THEM.

This is getting crazy! VERY ANNOYING!! American Lung Assoc...Just now..Portland, Or..the day before...Miami, Fl...the day before that...LA...the day before that..Chicago area...the day before that...another Fl. location...What do they think? That we're going to pick up and repeatedly give to them..because they have different locations and phone numbers? I WOULD NEVER EVER GIVE THEM A PENNY..BASED ON THIS!!!

Same here .. no donations, I'm hoping enough others feel the same that they can't pay their phone bills.  Way too irritating an outfit.

Called today with caller ID showing Portland, OR.  The same voice called yesterday with caller ID as Miami, FL.  The clown asked both times for someone by name who doesn't live here.   It's probably the lung organization that others have reported.

I keep getting phone calls from them.  I have phoned American Lung Association in Washington, repeating our phone number clearly 3 times, telling them to stop calling me, even though they are a charity. I told them I would file a complaint with State Attorney General if they didn't stop.  I am still getting phone calls, making a list of the different numbers they use and then will see about effectiveness of filing a complaint.  I assume it truly is American Lung Association.  I assume if it was a scam, American Lung would have a statement on their web site warning people so as to protect themselves. And sometimes caller id clearly says American Lung.
