phone rang three times and quit.

called me i said hello 4 times and then they hang up. 30 secs later called me back - same story.  30 Secs later called me back this time it was all static

** update **  I was driving when they called last 3 times.  Got to the office and called the number back and got a message that simply said "if you do not wish to be called for future promotions please press 1 now"  ofcourse i pressed 1

got a call from this number earlier today but nobody was on the other line.  Just got a call - recorded - "hi, this is Jason with GE home security"....blah blah he pretends to sound like a real person but it is just a recording

I received a call from this number yesterday and again today. The phone only rang 3 or 4 times, I did not answer, and no message was left. I've been getting a lot of these types of calls recently from a few different numbers and I really wish they'd quit.

They tell me its to resolve a debt with Ace Cash loan which I do have and they read my Ss back to me and told me a judge is going to contact me if I don't pay the amount. How scary. I didn't pay I asked about paying online of course there is no such place the guy tells me you need to pay now. I hang up. The following week I get a voicemail from a private number claiming they were a judge coming to sentence me blah blah blah.

Called from Amity, Oregon - called and hung up.

yeah, this Jason guy with GE Security systems called me too, I told him I was with the FBI - he apologized and quickly hung up.  I am sure he will call back - al these scum callers do.  

I don't answer calls that I don't know the number for so naturally, I didn't answer. I Googled the number and I saw this forum. I called the number back and I heard the automated message saying that If I didn't want to get calls anymore, press 1. I did, it said it can take up to 72 hours to be removed from their list. I remember a time when cell phones couldn't get marketing calls...apparently all numbers are fair game now days. I don't know if this is the same company or not but as of yesterday, I've been bombarded with marketing calls and numbers I don't know.

Unwanted call

Received two phone calls, no messages.  Called back and hit "1" to get off the list.

I got call from 971-259-0024 and was informed that GE Alarm Security will do installation of home security in the area. Then he asked if I am the homeowner or renter. I refused to have conversation and he quickly hang up. ID theft or something else?

Sounda like your identity has been stolen. You should probably do something about that.

They called my grandson's phone. He's been told not to answer any calls he doesn't recognize. I googled it and found this. We are supposed to be on the do not call list...........what happened to that????

I agree with others who have posted the FCC complaint link.  It takes no more than 5 minutes to complete.  If you don't complain, nothing will be done about these calls:
