Found out it's a company out of Portland,  Oregon called Universal Screen & Doors. Really, on a late evening and a Saturday.  Please, STOP CALLING!!!

800notes is not affiliated with your callers, we are not calling you either. 800notes is a forum for reporting who calls you and any information you may have about the call to share with other forum users. It is highly doubtful that your callers are reading here also. We can't stop anyone from calling you either.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

Can you tell us why you neglected to read it?

Call from this number claimed they were from Microsoft and that someone had control of my computer doing "bad things."  Wanted to "help me fix it."  When I said I would investigate it myself, they quickly hung up.

Said they were microsoft.  I told them I was callibg the FBI and that I knew thet were a scam

I got call today...Sounded like someone from India...said his name was Mike Smith...working for ITT...and was calling about my computer problem.

Told him I don't have a computer, you are scamming, so I am reporting you.  He didn't have anything else to say!  I am on the Do Not Call Registry...which apparently does no good at keeping these jerks from calling.

Got a call from this number by someone who said they were calling about my computer.  My experience was similar to what happened to Mad Mom.  Very hard to understand person who called when they spoke.  Asked to repeat and they hung up.  Sounded very suspect to me when person started speaking.  They did not identify a company.  Reverse look up indicates Portland OR number.

Sounded like someone from India, said "good be day to yous". So I knew it was a telemarketer/scam so I asked "WTF do you want [***]?" That's when the threats of cutting off my American head and putting it ....couldn't make out the rest. So this terrorist wants to play then so be it. Now it's personnel.
