Left an "empty" message on our land line.  No voice and no call center noise - probably had their mic muted.  Like a lot of people, we are on the semi-useless state and federal DNC.  Internet search shows this number may be used by adaption centers in the Denton, TX area.  Caller ID only shows "Texas" and the phone number they supposedly used.

They called and didn't leave a message no caller id, I guess its a scam otherwise a message would have been left. I DON"T ANSWER calls on my home or cell phones, If its a legit call they'll leave a message.

I received a call from this number and it went to voice mail.  Apparently they didn't know it and a man with a foreign accent said "Hello - may I speak to Mr. Or Ms. My Business."  Then said "Hello, Hello??"  and hung up.  Probably one of those stupid people saying they are from Microsoft and I'm having trouble with my computer.  If you dial that number, it says it's been disconnected.  Yeah right!!!

sand [***] saying they worked for Microsoft and my computer was emmiting a virus.  I needed to pay them 228.00 to clear it off.  Total scam.  I told them I was going over to Pakistan and open up a 55 gallon drum of whoop ass on their sand [***] self.

I answered a call from this number, I said that this was my business line and to please not call. The person on the other line, with a US accent" asked me what type of business was I in... I insisted that I needed him to not disturb and not call and he said since I was a "Dick" about it , he would put me in circulation again !!!!!  amazing !

CID "Texas".  Left no message on my answering machine.  This most likely a spoofed number and not even originating from TX.   Will hang up on it next time.

Multiple calls to my unlisted cell number. Leaves no message.

I get multiple calls from this number.  One call, it will be about HVAC service.  The next time they call, they claim to be with Microsoft Technical Support.
I've tried to block this number, but because it's a non-working number (i.e., it's a SPOOFED number), it won't block it.

HVAC Services... they keep calling me from a variety of phone numbers.  Each time I block it - they call from a different number.

If your trying to block through your phone service provider then of course it won't work. Look into a call blocking device that will block these spoofed numbers.  For a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

If you have a newer call blocking set up, block the area code if possible. This usually stops them cold.

Calls repeatedly even after told "Do Not Call Again"...Cursed out by one "telemarketer" & another told me "It's my job to call you...so I'll be calling you tomorrow."
