I just got a call from this number also

I received a recording about working something out with the IRS using a private tax resolution service company. Big scam. You can do most things with the IRS over the phone yourself, and if you need more help, then you hire a tax attorney. I've dialed "2" in the past to remove my name from their calling list, but they continue to call.

Calls my phone holds the line and says nothing.

Ugh keeps calling me so I did a google search. They are some scammers. I'm gonna curse them next time.

I received a call from this number but did not answer it. I tried calling it back and got a message that "the number you called has been disconnected or no longer in service".

I just got a call from this number at work and rejected it no voicemail I looked it up and read these tried to call back disconnected.. smdh " aint nobody got time fo dat"

Got this number didnot Answer it and didnot leave a message.

... sharks. Heard same recording as above. My parents lost thousands to a similar scam a few years ago.  Be ware.

got call. roommate answered. they started spilling something about Verizon. he hung up. we live in VA. caller id said texas.

Got a call from this number didn't answer it sent it to voice mail and they left no voice mail.

Soo fed up w scammers!  These STUPID MORONS!  I SAID are u a recording or himan?  They hung up on me!  I did not even get a chance to tell them off!  So I called them!  N got this number not in service..stupid bs   I always will harass them right back along with put them on my block list!  since the ftc isnot fast enough.  If u get a call...just tell em they been beat n ur reporting ....to ftc....

Got a call from this number.  Didn't answer it since I didn't recognize the number.  What good is the do not call list?  I have been on this DNC list since it came out and still get telemarketers and scam calls.

Got a recorded call from Sarah about unwanted IRS tax debt.  I don't have any and they called my home phone also.

Got a call on my cell phone from this number in Garland TX area (As per checking on online where this number is allegedly from)…WE DO NOT ANSWER CALLS THAT WE DO NOT KNOW RECOGNIZE THE NUMBER...NO MESSAGE WAS LEFT….When I dialed the number back it ran 3 times and then went into a BUSY SIGNAL SOUND…

Like all numbers like this we mark them in our Cell Phones as DO NOT ANSWER….So that if they call again we just IGNORE THE CALL.

This possibly a SPOOFED CALL...

Just got a phone call  from this #.   I live in Upstate New York.
The called ID said Grand Pr, Texas.   It will Not leave a message on your
machine.  HOWEVER, what it does,  is it is a Computer that blathers an
automatic message into your phone.  I picked up the phone, hung up,
the computer message was still droning on, so I continued to pick up
the phone and hang up,  and after around x 3 tries,  I got a dial tone
and disconnected.   I would love to shove a hot poker up these [***]
[***].  Its illegal to tie up ones phone like that.

We just received a call to one of our cell phones from this number saying they can help us with an IRS debt.  We do not have any so I thought immediately that it was a fraud.
I did some investigating:
1. The number 972-522-1729 is registered to a Yolanda Hollomon, Quinton Hollomon at the address...[residential address removed], Grand Prairie, TX 75052-4580
2. It is also associated with a Eboni Hollomon at [residential address removed] Arlington, TX 76018-1692 and associated with Robert A. Ouoyele, T.C. Covington and Caroline T. Covington.

I get these calls all the time to my cell phone, which is basically illegal according to the FCC, I never answer them. Simple solution is,,, if you don't recognize the number calling you, DON'T answer it. If it is important they will leave a message.
