This number called me a few minutes ago and said they were the financial department

Mr luke Marshar called from this no and said he is from Atlanta police dept associated with federal government. wants $1535.00. he wants me to go to super market CVS and buy  green dot money pack card  and pay him the money
it is a fraud do not give any money. The caller used 404-658-8894 number to transferred the number to 972-559-8334

I received a call from a computer muffled voice or Nigerian accent naming himself "Chief Frank Noonan" left a return # (972)559-8334 a dallas Tx area code, but the caller ID number was from 717-783-3399 (PA state police-per google) most likely computer forwarded asking for me by my first name and an incorrect last name wanting me return a call about a "Federal complaint: made to officer "Michael" about me.  Anyone could have gotten my first name and #.  I believe this to be a serious fraudulent scam.  

Scammer using Boston City Police Dept number left voicemail that a member of my family was being sought by the Feds and that she should turn herself in or contact Luke Marshall at the 972-559-8334 number.  Caller claimed to be "Chief George Turner" and had a foreign accent (quite unlike what would be expected for a Boston police officer).  Besides, the "chief" is hardly likely to call and leave a message.  Most likely an extortion attempt.

Scammer told me to call this number, surrender to Boston Police for Federal Arrest Warrant resolution or call number to fix matters.

Received a voicemail from 687-343-4240 saying that there is a federal complaint and should surrender to the nearest police dept. at this very second. Or call the office of John Peterson who has filed a federal complaint...not sure who this person is. The person identified himself as Jeev George Jono (not sure though)...he also gave a number to call...972-559-8... (couldn't pick up last 3 digits from the voicemail, probably 8334...). Who are these people...can they not be stopped...Should I call Boston Police.

Legitimate process servers do not call to warn you, or to get money from you to stop the process.  They will deliver the notification without warning.

Caller with a Hispanic accent claiming to be from the Boston Police Department telling a member of my family to report to the nearest police department and call 978 559 8334  - could not catch the name of the 'officer'.  

I received on 07/01/2014 from same "chief" caller id was showing Madison WI police phone number message - said to call 972-559-8334

Something called Financial Crimes Division, voice had a slight Indian accent.   Total scam.

This is a scam call from India.  It's not Nigerian.  Do not call back and report it to your local authorities immediately.  

I received a call from 615-862-7400 identifying himself as Frank Johnson with the Nashville police department. Threatened to arrest my sister unless she calls 972-559-8334. Called this number and found that Luke Marshall wanted to talk to my sister and mentioned the same.

OMG same thing just happened to us right name same scenario!

I wasnt home, the guy called Luke Marshall, told my son ...my name had appeared in some federal files... call the metro police and gave this number.
I was scared earlier but decided to search online and thank God.... it's a scam

received a call from unknown number, accent was fareasteren similiar to somewhat chinese., introdueced as George turner and on my questioning he gave his police ID # 6145, that a law suit is filled against you. I understood that its a scam. When I asked his ph.# he gave 972-559-8334. Do not give any personal information. IRS, or police Department normally do not make calllike this  

I got the same exact type of call, "Chief George Turner" from Boston Police that some officer "Luke Marshall" from Feds filed a complaint against me and asked me to either visit the nearest PD or call 972-559-8334. In my experience, 1) a "chief" would never call me and, 2) All official communications are made via USPS mails and not a phone call. Scams!!!
