got a call also....never answered

Just got a call and dead silence for a minute or so, so I hung up.

Left dead air voicemail for 5 seconds

This number tried calling me yesterday, Wednesday July 22nd at 6:30pm Pacific Time. Then again this morning, Thursday July 23rd at 9:36am Pacific Time.

I didn't answer either time. If it was someone that mattered, they would leave a voicemail.

WTF!?

I answered it and it was a girl claiming to be from Charter communications.  She asked me about my tv watching and then pitched me a deal on tv and phone service, which I promptly turned down.  She wouldn't let me go until I told her I am done with this conversation.

Charter Communications answered when I called back. They called me but did not leave a message.

Have been getting calls for last three days, usually at 9am but last one at 8:30pm, have not answered an no voicemails yet.

This is a "new one"!  Just started calling recently.  It is from a number unknown to us, and therefore is not answered!  Caller ID shows Cable.  We live in an area that does not have access to cable of any kind, so robo calls of this type are useless and annoying!  Not sure where this area code is from, but it really doesnt matter because the calls will continue to go unanswered!

According to google, 972 is Texas. However, that does not mean they are actually calling from that area. With the technology available now, they could be out of the country and just spoofing numbers.

When they called they asked me if I was xxxxx.  I asked them who is this without responding to the question. I asked 2 more times and then I could hear a bunch of punk telemarketing in background.  Sounded like a bunch of stoned idiots working for a telemarketing firm to get business.  Kids with no brains.

Said she is Charter. I told her I don't do anything over the phone... send in mail.

same number has called me repeatedly over the last two weeks, but leaves no message.  I'm assuming it's Charter calling yet AGAIN, even though I've asked to be removed from their list in the past.  They just change the number they're calling from.

They work for ''Charter Communications'', internet, tv & phone provider in my area.

They called many times and I don't pick up the phone. All of the above comments are very useful and appreciated.

They call a few times a week, never leave a message. If this is Charter like everyone else is saying, just block it.

I get a call everyday, usually between  9:00 - 11:00 am. No message left.
No answer on call back. I no longer answer any calls from this number

This is Charter Communications.  They call from a number of phone numbers.  Because it is a computer dialed call there is often no one there if you do answer.  I get several of these calls a day.  Currently it is this number.  I do belong to the Do Not Call list as well.  AND IF YOU'RE LISTENING CHARTER.......STOP, YOU ARE ALIENATING THE VERY PEOPLE YOU WANT TO PURCHASE SOMETHING FROM YOU!

Called every morning and evening for the past 12 days, including the weekends. Finally answered and they said they were Charter and it was illegal to leave voicemails without permission. Also the number is texas yet she said she is calling from Arizona. Barely heard her cuz of all the people talking in background. Terrible sales pitch also, so expensive.
