Our CEO got a message from this number as well (Robert Bryant x227). Are they fishing for investors?

I received a cold call from these folks from a man named James Taylor.  He left no specifics, so I did not call him back.  It sounded shady!

Caller identified himself as Carlos Drayden with Giant Petroleum, asked to speak with our company president about oil & gas investment. Gave a call back number of 972-607-4300 ext. 235.

My Answering service also received a cold call from AUSTIN MONTGOMERY
ext 239. I did not return call.

Received a call from Austin Montgomery, too.  Said he had a package to send to my boss but had to ask some personal questions before sending.  He made me laugh when he said he couldn't tell me more than that as it was SEC regulated.

Bill Malone called from the Giant Operating Co. promising they'd send a check once a month if I invested and I'd have my money back in X months...although there is some risk, there's a huge upside.  Apparently they've struck black gold, Texas Tea in 8 well in the Pyramid Basin of New Mexico (can't find that on Google).
He says he got my name from a list I'm on of people interested in investing in oil exploration (funny, a few months ago a guy from Western Oil (?) said the same thing...I wonder what list this is since I do not invest in anything speculative beyond real stocks).  I am a COO/President of a small company.

Just got a call from Bill Malone. He left his number and extension 214. Didn't catch the name of his company cause I figured he was a telemarketer. Said he was based out of Dallas, TX.

I got the call from Bill Malone; same story as above. Cold call fishing for investors, it would appear.

I just got a call from Joe Fiori. He wanted to talk to my boss and said he is from Giant Operating Co. based in TX. I already received several very smimilar calls in the past few weeks all based out of TX. I asked for the number to call back: 972-607-4300 x 244. Of course I have no intention on calling back or even forwarding the message to my boss - waste of time.

Received call from Robert Hernandez at Giant Oil.  Left number and ext 238.   Said he wanted to send a prospectus

I am the owner of a small business.  Had a voicemail message (they had my extension) from Steve Wheeler of Giant Operating, Dallas, TX.  972-607-4300 x 229.  Asked me to call him at my earliest convenience.  No other information.  Googled "Giant Operating" and came up with this site.  Sounds like they're fishing for investors.

Correction - not that it matters much, but the extension was 229.

I got a call from "Giant Operating" in Dallas Texas from Steve Wheeler.  No details.  Sounded both like a cold call and "fishing."

Called asking for President.  Took message no company name stated, it was a "personal call for an investment opportunity".  Call number back operator hesitated and almost gave different company name.

Got a call from Candace for the business owner, whom she claimed was "an active investor." Wanted to talk to her about a "drilling project."
Sounds fishy to me.

Recieved a call from James Taylor from Giant Operating, Dallas, Tex asking me call back about a joint venture. No Thanks!

Doug Weaver from Giant Operating said he wanted to talk to our CEO about an upcoming project.  Ext 226 - he called yesterday and hung up on me when I said the CEO wasn't in.  When I asked what type of project he said "oil & gas."
