This number has called my business twice.  First time they hung up, second time, trying to pass themselves off as a vehicle call center (wouldn't say for who), asked me for my van mileage, tried to get me to do a warranty extension on my van.

Called me and said "Hi this is so-n-so calling from the "The Vehicle Processing Unit"......... I hung up....... spam....  I could hear about a million people background noise of this quite obvious calling center.

Called trying to sell extended an warranty for my vehicle. They had outdated information that is public knowledge - Like how you get those cards in the mail where they know your name and the make/model of your car. I'm on the national do not call list which they are violating by calling and soliciting business where I have not done any business with them. Anyone on the list who gets a call from them should report them:

I couldn't even understand the accent of the rep calling from this number.  ID shows it's from Allen, TX, but I highly doubt it.  I asked to be taken off their call list, but I'm doubting that'll happen too.  Thanks B for the complaint link.

Claimed to be from a Vehicle Warranty renewal Dept.  They have called me several times and i ask them to not call me back.

I have received 2 calls this week while I was on another call. I am also on the do not call list

The way to solve this is to accept their call, pretend you're interested, have them send you something in the mail so you know for certain who is behind these calls and then for $100 sue them in small claims court for $500 per call.  If you're waiting for the government to enforce the Do Not Call law, you're fooling yourself.  The government is not going to do anything, they can't and never had any intentions.  Take matters into your own hands.  A couple of years I walked away with $1,000 from a national golf store that kept sending me faxes.......it does work, but you have to know who you're dealing with before you can take action.

Caller ID showed JCP Portrait (maybe JC Penney's Portrait Studio) - no message.  I don't shop at JC Penney and certainly did not get any pictures made with them.  Others are saying this number belongs to someone trying to sell extended warranties.   Maybe the portrait studio cannot make enough money sellng pictures and is now in the extended warranty business?!? LOL  I don't, and never will answer these calls.  Although, like a previous poster, maybe I should answer and start suing these companies.
