Just got a call from them. I called it right back and the English speaking lady said 'hello'. I asked if she just made a call to my number and she was all surprised and confused. I explained my suspicion based on the loud click and hang up. She said she is with Pro something carpet cleaning service. I mentioned spoofing and spamming calls taking up other people's names and numbers on caller ID and she seemed geniunely concerned. I told her to not be surprised if she gets more calls like mine. She said she would report it.

Has called twice today and not left message either time.  Caller ID says GBE, Inc.

I received this call today. no one ever spoke on the line. I had this call from before and it was as posted from VAl, a Carpet Cleaning service. THey used to call all the time and I ripped 'em a new one for that back then. Now, it looks like it's starting up again. We just renewed or do not call registry. Definetly take the time to renew.
When I talked with the company last time I went through this, I learned they hire 3rd party telemarketing firms to do this dirty work and I let them know how I felt about MY experience.

Just got a call from this number, english speaking woman, no foreign accent.  Caller ID said 'Carpet Cleaning', reverse number lookup said 'GBE'.  Interrupted her sales pitch with a warning to never call my number again, then hung up without waiting for her reply.  Should have got more info instead, trying to call this number back does not work.

If I ever receive another call will schedule a carpet cleaning (cash, no credit card number) then will turn the SOB away at the door with written notice to the company to stop phoning me.  This tactic has worked before to stop repeated telephone solicitations.

My number is on the Do Not Call list. They called. I answered by saying that my number is on the DNC list and to please remove from their call list, but they hung up on me before I could finish my sentence.

This number called me today.  I asked to be removed from the calling list and was hung up on before I could even finish the sentence.  His name was justin with united carpet something.  Don't do business with them!  I tried to call back to complain and it was a fast busy.

9728615558 keeps calling, never identifies themselves, never speaks.  just hangs up on both answering machine and pickup calls.

Keeps calling!  Very annoying!  Never leaves message!  STOP CALLING!!!!!!!

Calls on the time and hangs up.  I am on the donot call list but they get through. If you call back its busy or doesn't ring at all.   COWARDS!!!

I got a call from them today.  After I told them that my number was on the national do not call list, they "offered" to add me to their list.  I have been "added" to their own personal list several times in the last months.  I have filed a complaint with the FCC and FTC.

Should have gotten more info instead, trying to call this number back does not work,or no one answers. Now these folks call nearly everyday...then hang up???

i would go kill them if it were legal.  just pass a law and see.  ;)  i reported them twice to the useless do not call site.  the government is just stupid and has no teeth, hum what's the guys name ricky?  someone post his phone number on here for me.

Called this PM.  Asked the guy why he was calling me as a Carpet Service from half way across the US.  He said he was not that far but very close in my location.   I then asked him again why he called because I have no dealings with his business, don't want a carpet service, it's against the law to call and harrass people, especially those on the DO NOT CALL list.  He abruptly called me an Axx-Hxxx and hung up on me.   Wish he had stayed on for a few seconds so I could have told him what I thought of him personally and his Afro-American heritage.

This number is also connected to the 746-699-8811, 817-734-4236 scam.  It does not matter what you say or what you do, they are going to call you all day and all night. I have reported them to every authority I can think of.  I doubt they even do duct/carpet cleaning or whatever they are saying they do.  If I ignore one set of calls, they start calling as another number. Starting to think they are trying to figure out if I am home or gone.  Unplugging the phone over Easter really confused them.  I live in the Plano, Tx area and see our area along with Frisco and McKinney is being targeted. Any ideas how to shut these people down? Have reported to the FCC and filed a complaint with the do not call registry.

I got a call from this number and answered it, the guy said he was with Pro Airduct and Carpet cleaining and that they were running a special. As soon as I said I wasn't interested he hung up.  Quite frankly, if I were to be interested next month, I wouldn't do business with them if they're going to hang up like that before you're finished speaking.  It really comes across as a fly by night company.

These rip-off artists have nothing to fear from the FCC.  You waste your time reporting the calls to the FCC.  The FCC has received 10,000 complaints for violating the do-not-call lists.  It has cited only 8 companies and has not levied any fines at all.  They have only warned the 8 companies to stop calling people on the do-not-call list.

The FTC has received more than 150,000 complaints but has not yet cited any company.

This is the bad ineffective government we get because we vote for our incumbent Congressmen.  Vote against them and put people who will act in office.
