It's one of those stupid collectors that uses the scare tactics of serving you with a summons. I don't know what company it is. When I called the number back it didn't give a company name.

This is a collection agency posing as a law office threatening to serve you papers for a civil suit. I told them to send something to me in writing, they kept trying to get me to give them my social security number over the phone.

These people call, never leave a message. They use a local number, so the call seems more legitimate. I never answer a number that I don't recognize and has no caller ID. If it's legit, they can leave a message.

called the number as it appeared as local number..the operator saying there are 3 companies sharing this line..i didn't listened the rest..and dropped it.

Debt collecting agency using scare tactics by falsely saying that you are being served. Only law enforcement offices can serve you, and they do it in person. You can't be served over the phone. NCA is the acronym of the company, but don't know more than that.

Called, and did not leave a message.

I received a missed call today and i normally never call back number that i do not know or that do not leave a message. Needless to say I called back as I had a missed a call yesterday from a similar number. The initial call to them did not even ring it said you have called NCA asked for me to type in ext number or hold, i held and a girl answered after hearing another girl speak in the back ground about what they were eating asking me for my name, i told her you called me and i need to know why you called and she transferred me to some other department. Hold Music played for a minute then i had to verify my phone # again, and guess what he told me to hold again 5 mins later I hung up!!! If this is a scam as what i have ready PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL INFO, IF THEY CLAIM THAT ANYTHING IS OWED TELL THEM TO VALIDATE THE INFO IN WRITING, IF THEY ASK FOR YOUR NAME, ADDRESS ANYTHING #1 HANG UP, #2 WHATEVER YOU HAVE ON FILE SHOULD BE YOUR RESPONSE, #3 THEY CAN NOT SUE YOU WITHOUT SERVING YOU AND CORRECT PREVIOUS COMMENT THEY HAVE TO DO THIS IN PERSON AND IF YOU DO GET SERVED SHOW UP IF NOT IT WILL BE A DEFAULT JUDGMENT! IF YOU DO HAVE TO GO TO COURT SEEK LEGAL COUNCIL OR JUST ASK FOR VALIDATION. THEY CAN NOT COLLECT THE DEBT NOR REPORT IT WITHOUT VALIDATION! Oh joy... I love to listen to these voicemails from these morons. I think that they watch wayyyy too much tennis on tv because all they say is You've been served. Lol

Could it possibly be that the callers are not tennis players, but waiters and waitresses?

Never give me any information as to who the debt is for and they ask me to verify my home address

I get a message that it is a location service trying to locate me.  If I call them it is a collection company that will threaten with going to jail, I always tell them bring it.  I am so tired of this, it isn't even for me it is for a relative that supposedly put me as a reference and they are scamming me.  There is no way I would give them even one penny.

Do not give these people any information. After 83 missed calls I decided to call back. They did not want to identify themselves they only wanted my personal and banking information. After I threat them with a lawsuit they told me that they were NCA.asked what that meant and they told to hold and transfered me. After a while some hostile person got on the phone and said they were National Credit Adjusters. They ask me again for my personal and banking information Ia asked the guy to validate in writing the debt that they claim I owe. He told me that they were going to get nasty.I consulted with my lawyer about options and we are gathering data from my phone company for dates and times. At the same time from my lawyers office we called the legit National Credit Adjusters company. The legit company were very helpful. After my lawyer explained the situation the legit National Credit Adjusters told us to disregard calls from Texas. they have only have offices in Kansas and Arizona and they do not use local numbers they use the phone numbers advertised in their web page. they also said that they have been fighting for over two years scammers in Texas claiming to be them. The real number for National Credit Adjusters is 1-888-768-0674. Hope this helps
