- Michaelcalled and asked if I filled out something about a free vacation. Sounded like India call center but number said Dallas, TX on my caller ID. Told him not interested and hung up.
- VanReceived a call from 972 994-6685 saying I won a trip 8 days and 7 nights to include air fare. He sounded like he was from India. He had none of my information but said I signed up somewhere while shopping in November 2014. He claimed to be from a company named National Grand Center.
- Caller: National Grand Center

- James...said won vacation and that a person from the local office would be calling to give me claim number in the next 5 minutes.
- MarisaSame thing as everyone else, called me in the middle of the day (noon CST) from said number and a man with an Indian accent told me I had won a vacation for 8 days/7 nights on a flight or a cruise. I didn't give any information but agreed to speak with a manager who is supposed to call me to "set up my vacation." I'll report that number as well, as this is clearly a scam. They asked about my household income (lied) and quoted my age from the ballot as between 35-70 (lied to get through to this next phone call and see what other number they are using).
- Caller: Royal Vacations
- EricaCalled and said they were with Royal Vacations and I had qualified for a 8 day 7 night trip for a drawing I entered last year. Calling from a noisy call center and had a foreign accent. When I said give me your phone number so I can call back, said I had to call back before 2. I just hung up.

- Naomi| 4 repliesHey you guys. I only got promised 3 days and 2 nights plus airfare! No fair. You all got bigger deals! Indian accent with call center background noise. I asked where he got my number and he said I, "entered to win a free vacation." Not likely, but I played along. He was calling from a "Dallas Tx" number 469.250.5823. Said his boss would call 5 minutes after he hung up to set up a time with hubby and me to go over all the services offered by "Royal Vacations," a new travel agency HQ in Dallas. I asked, "What information are you going to be asking from me so I can collect my prize?" He just confirmed 'couple, age, income' and said he didn't need anything else, his boss would take care of the rest.
His "boss" did call (from UNKNOWN) and gave me a different company name (Midwest Outdoor Resorts) and tried to set up a 90-minute promotional meeting at 2051 Killebrew Dr., Bloomington, MN 55425 #205, where we would collect our free travel voucher (good for 1 year) after having heard the presentation on the services offered by the company. They were willing to give away free travel to impress us with the services of their company. 25 days before departure, we would be responsible for paying $75 each for taxes on the tickets, but even this would be reimbursable.
I ran out of time and had to hang up. But this company does the palaver better than most. I'm wondering now just what's at that address?? But I got better things to do. If someone figures out the rest of the scam, let us all know!- Caller: Midwest Outdoor Resorts

- B-Edwards replies to Naomi| 1 replyIn general, these are plain vanilla bait and switch "Vacation Scams". Ignore and block the number, save you time and money.
- Naomi replies to JJIts an office building that houses a for profit school named Kaplan. I got nothing else.
- Naomi replies to B-EdwardsYeah, I didnt have the patience to get to the point where I'd prove that out. Good advice.
