Left no message

Person with Indian call center accent offering "free" trip. Very poor call quality although Caller Id showed call was from Dallas TX. Call was to cell phone and claimed we had entered a contest to win trip. Listened for 2-3 minutes then said we weren't interested and hung up.

Confusing. Man with a thick Indian accent called and said we entered a contest(which neither of us remembered entering)and that we won a free trip. Wouldn't give us details about where the trip went, couldn't give us better details than, "you win a trip" and when we started asking questions about it, he hung up. I wouldn't trust this.

I did not answer; caller did not leave a message.

"Pricegrabber.com"
I am reporting both to their respective BBB's.

Got this same call today ... a guy with an Indian accent told me I had won a trip from a contest I entered back in December ... I don't fill out that kind of stuff, so I knew something was fishy ... I wanted to see where he was going, so I humored him for a few minutes ... He was trying to get me to give him personal details, so I hung up.

got a call from this number, don't know anyone in that area.  no message.  i bought alot of mothers day stuff online, probably farmed out my number to sales reps.

no response when I answered call. Showed as from Dallas, TX

Heavy Indian accent said I entered a contest I know I didn't enter and that I won. Said it was "World Market" contest. Don't ever enter those things so watch out. You could tell it was a cell phone and he was either calling from a car or bad reception. When I said I was interested, he said you don't even know what this is. Umm ya, scam lol

Call on my cell at 9:55 this AM.  No message.  Got one from a Miami number a few days ago.  Same thing.  Have listed number on Do Not Call.  May have been too recent to take effect yet or it was ignored.  Have not had cell long and mostly just use to keep in touch with family. Don't give the number out freely so not sure how they got the number.

Call I did not recognize the number so I did not answer.

Assume telemarketer scam. yeah, happy mothers day :)

Caller was nearly unintelligible.  Seemed to keep saying something about a coupon.   Hung up.

Same story as above,  called my husband's phone on Friday with the same claim about winning a trip. We hung up, then I missed a call from the same number yesterday. Hate these scammers. Wish they would stop wasting people's time.
