Received a call on my cell phone, "alerting me that my debit ard had been compromised". The caller knew the name of my bank, and asked for my account number. Instead I called the 800 number on my card, and was reaasured that this was a scam.

Got a call from an computer dialer saying my banks debit card ( they knew the bank by name) was suspended and to to call and 813 number that I didnt get written down.
I called the number and its a fake travel company message machine.

Received four phone calls from this number in less than 20 minutes. No message was left. Never answered the phone.

3 calls from this number within 40 minutes on my cell phone.  I ignored the first two, answered the third.  I got the recorded message that the others on this thread received. It's indeed a bank scam.  They knew the name of my bank, which is of concern because very few people have my cell number.  My bank does, which leads me to believe that customer information at my bank has been compromised.  I e-mailed them to report it.
The phone number is assigned to a travel agency in New Jersey, although they may not even be involved and have simply had their phone number pirated.
