Wanted to know if I had a computer. The man kept asking for my computer info.

Man claimed to be calling on behalf of WINDOWS. Said he had reports of my having problems with my Windows computer program, and he could fix it all for me. I said no and hung up.

Man wanting me to disclose information of my Windows operating system claiming I was having problems and he could fix them.  He had a heavy accent.  

stop this man or  whoever is calling my home  constantly

800notes is not affiliated with your callers, we are not calling you either. 800notes is a forum for reporting who calls you and any information you may have about the call to share with other forum users. It is highly doubtful that your callers are reading here also. We can't stop anyone from calling you either or remove from a list.

Consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.

I received a call from this dude today. He had a heavy accent. He told me that he was calling on behalf of WINDOWS and would like to help me fix a problem with my computer. I then asked him the model number for the computer to which he was referring and it took him about 3 minutes to reply "The windows computer". He claimed that there was a virus from advertisements or emails or downloads on my computer which was trying to damage my computer. He said that he was going to walk me through on how to fix this. I then asked if they couldn't just fix this with an update. Again it took the man a few minutes to reply. This time he went on about how this virus could damage the internal memory on my computer and reduce the speed. Throughout the entire conversation I heard various voices in the background. I just blasted audio into my phone and made him hold.

This number keeps calling my phone there is just a beep and it hangs up. I don't know how to make it STOP!?!

Calls a minimum of 3 times every day on the line I use as a fax line. Caller id shows Karen Cooke like other people reporting.

Same here as you people above... this guy called my home early morning today, with a terrible broken line voice, insisting that he was calling to fix the windows in my computer. I asked him who told him to call me and what was his Microsoft ID # but he didn't stop saying that he was calling to fix the windows in my computer.
In fact, I am having a problem in my outlook; I have a contract with some business to fix my computer under remote control access, and this business can't ever fix the problem; after I called to my internet provider, was verified that the problem is not in my computer, once in my tablet everything is working properly.
Now I wonder.... if there is a scheme here???

Call said windows problem I told them that I work for Microsoft and if there were any problems I would take my computer into work with me and to stop calling they keep calling using all different nbrs beware these people are scammers
