- JjbAnnoying when they don't leave messages. Calls are frequent and always in evening when we can't get to the phone. Need to block this one. Caller id says Breast Cancer AM. Great way to turn off donations.

- Burlco48The FCC no longer takes complaints regarding the phone scammers who robodial your number and leave no message. Worse yet, some states such as NJ, no longer take complaints about DNC violations and the roboscum know that thus our legislators have given them a blessing to continue annoying us. And then to make it even worse, the phone provider profits by providing service to the scammers and won’t shut them down as it would be lost income for them. They know the robosum are out there just by monitoring the bandwidth they utilize. And the phone provider’s even make additional money (in opening new services) by switching the roboscum’s outgoing lines so a complaint about any particular number would be meaningless once they feel it’s time to run and hide once more. So it’s time to fight back – contact your provider to ask to make your number a toll number for incoming calls from out of the area so when robocallers attack your privacy then they must pay you for your valuable time. Contact your legislators to stop the robocallers – send them a complaint every time you get a call. Tell them to stop the scumbags or you will elect someone who will! And why not sue the phone providers for their inaction to pull the plug on the scum as well? A great class action suit awaits a great attorney team on this one. The worse part of this whole mess is that the phone companies continue to profit from your life being interrupted. I use a Panasonic KX-TG6844 phone that can block 250 numbers. The cost of $111 pays for itself if you use Verizon’s Call Intercept service (a $9.99 per month ransom plus federal and local taxes) in a year and you can drop the Verizon intercept service.

- MkCalled saying that they've had a hard time reaching me. I asked repeatedly who they were trying to reach & all they would say is what sounded like the letter "E". Then they go into their spiel and I stopped them several times by saying I can't afford to give you anything I just buried my mother (total bs) & that she didn't have life insurance. The woman kept pushing and pushing. Finally I told her to send me something in the mail & she hung up on me. Dirtbags

- 9721Received a call at 3:12 pm on my land line. Caller ID said breast cancer. Probably wanted a donation. I don't donate to over-the-phone requests. There are to many people using ligitimate reasons to fatten their own pockets. Another number that will go on the blocked list.
- Barbara ScafuraCall 5-6 times a day, looking for money.

- Carol replies to MaggieI heard that one on TV the scam for Breast Cancer. If I pick up the phone the lady says "your the hardest person to reach" and she's not happy.
- The-TruthThis isn't a real person. It's someone hiding behind a soundboard. That "you're harder to reach than a..." bit is too corny. I love to pimp them with "Yay! My favorite soundboard robot caller! Can you play me all the options? I get so bored with the same old ones all time time." and other such lines until they hang up. Sometimes they play a "Do I sound that bad?" clip when you call them out, and I have a lot of fun with that one. I love wasting charity scammers' time to divert them from others who might not know it's a scam.
- CookieI believe this phone call 983-333-4331 is from the Breast Cancer of America that was on the TV, they used the money on themselves and not a cent went for Breast Cancer . It came up on our phone as Breast Cancer AM.
