Did not leave a message. Tired of these calls!!!

Did not answer.  They did not leave message.   Whenni called back it was not a working number

Did not leave a message.

Missed call, no message left.

Call day after day almost same time. No message. call back non working number  tired of it.

Never answer unknown numbers.  I knew this was a NJ area code, and I've gotten "junk" type phone calls from the area code before:  "Free" cruise, lower your credit card rates, police charity for youth, etc.

It rang just 2 times so not long enough for my machine to get it.  ID said "Unknown Name".

I usually hang on these calls when I get them.  And I get a LOT of them.  If it's not a working number as I see from above post, it's bogus.  A legit business doesn't have a non-working number for their ID.  These scumbags don't want you to know where the call is coming from.

So annoying. calls multiple times, doesn't leave a message. Called back and it's a non- working number as everyone else said. Just block the number if you see it!

I stupidly answered this call, since the ID read 'Commonhealth,' and my husband is in the midst of some radiation treatments. I didn't want to miss important information or an insurance question. Dumb. Of course, no one responded when I answered the call. Here's my question, though: Why do scammers (assuming that's what they are) call and then leave dead air? If they don't want to try to get our information, what DO they want?

The answer to your question is that they are probably trying to validate that the phone number is active.  They will probably turn around and sell the number to other scammers, or even spoof it to use for other purposesl

Called, picked up and nothing...

this number called my cell phone. I let it become a missed call. No message was left. I called the number back from my landline and i received " i'm sorry this number has been either disconnected or not is service at this time, goodbye"!  How can a call be made from a non-working number?????????

Recorded message - "You have a chance to win a cruise"

I stayed on the line and eventually someone came on.    She said she was calling on behalf of Multiple Sclerosis.

Computer generated solicitation call, stating that I wont tickets for a free Cruise. Must take a Survey! I just Hung up the phone.
