Belma - 16 May 2008Thought this is a hoax/marketing call and had even written so in some forums, but apparently IT IS A ROUTING NUMBER for some International calls.
To be specific, I get calls from my home in India. Caller used a reputed cellphone service provider's phone number to make an international call (ISD call and not through calling card). For some strange reasons, sometimes the cell phone number gets displayed and sometimes it displays this 9734383624 number.
No doubt about my findings, since I have verified the calls from this number several times within past one week.
If you do not expect any international call, then it may turn out to be an international spammer at the other end!

Tarina - 21 May 2008Yes.You are right!I get this number too on my phone when i get calls from India.The landline Number from India gets displayed clearly but when someone is trying to reach you on your cell this is the number that you see on your cell phone.But there are some times when i did get a different number displayed.Strange but makes you wonder why!I too verified some of my calls and found out the same.Thanks for clearing it up.
