rejected the call not knowing who it's from

missed call at 10:57.  phone number does not work

Had missed call at 21:43 PDT, 05/10/2008.  No voice-mail.

have received calls from this number two days in a row. No one says anything when we picked up the first time. Purposely missed the other two calls and no voice mail was left. Got an error message when tried calling back...... really weird now that I come across all this comments about the same phone number......

I just got a call from the number and also a couple more calls from other numbers. The three calls were from machine-voice calls and gave authorization codes. ????

got a call from this number ... then one from 393 (canada) then one 523 from mexico. do not answer any call from these area codes!

this number called me on 12:34,did not ans for i don't recognize it.  this is the nth number who is calling my cell phone, what's happening? do you think the carrier has something to do with this?

got a call from this number, then from "unknown number", then from this number again.  did not pick up because i don't know who's calling.  could be a scam artist.

Yesterday I got a few calls from this number. Then it called me again about 1:30 this morning. Then a few minutes after that I get a call from my fiancée who lives in the Philippines. She was asking why I wasn't answering my phone because she kept calling me. I then realized it was showing this number when she was calling me. I don't know why.

wow...interesting! I rec'd call late at night also! I didn't pick up....glad I didn't.  Is this a collection agency using a fly by number or using the computer to tap into a random or unsecure number sequence? so they don't get traced????? For using illegal tactics.....

Eric, i'm also wondering about this phone number that you received from the philippines, i to have a lady friend from the philippines, and this number comes up, i have answered it and i'm taking to her. I ask her about this number and she has no idea what i am talking about, then she will call back at the number i reconzie from her international number, this has happen many times, it's like every other call it's from this number then hers if she is trying to get ahold of me,  I'm currious what is your future wife name?? and what city she lives in??   Michael

same what happened to me,thats why i searched the number,my sister miscall and then that number reflect here,there's some problem in their connection,much better don't answer,or maybe tactics.

This is very strange! I've ALSO received a call under that phone number from someone I know who also lives the Philippines. She played some games with me to guess where she really was, and I looked up the area code which is in New Jersey... but after finding this website it looks like I'm not the only one who's seen this number from the Philippines. She told me it came from a different calling card she used (probably to make an international call), which for some reason gives that number as its caller ID. Maybe that helps. Ask your friends who called you to see if this was the case!

wow...... i have a lady friend from the philippines that i talk to and this number has come up wen she calls. She claims she has no idea wat i am talking about. Pretty weird. She is from Quezon city. Anyone else have there lady friend from Quezon City????

I just gor a call from this number, there was no reply then I heard some beeps then a voice started talking in aSpanish then the call got disconnected.

Thought this is a hoax/marketing call and had even written so in some forums, but apparently IT IS A ROUTING NUMBER for some International calls.
To be specific, I get calls from my home in India. Caller used a reputed cellphone service provider's phone number to make an international call (ISD call and not through calling card). For some strange reasons, sometimes the cell phone number gets displayed and sometimes it displays this 9734383624 number.
No doubt about my findings, since I have verified the calls from this number several times within past one week.

If you do not expect any international call, then it may turn out to be an international spammer at the other end!

Got a call about midnight from this number (973)-438-3624.  These "phishers" seem to come out of the phillipines, usually having a Catholic affiliation to try and gain substance and credibility.

IT IS A ROUTING NUMBER for some International calls.

I just got a call from my girlfriend in the Philippines and 973-438-3624 was the number that showed on my caller ID. She uses Smart Buddy for cell service so Smart Buddy must be re-routing the calls.

How anyone finds use of this posting.
