Called asking for Rick - I told them to remove my number - they hung up.  I am on the do not call list and this is one of many that calls me.  The do not call list does not seem to work.

This number calls us all the time. This time I changed my voice and I said you are calling the wrong number and nobody lives here and to stop calling! It is annoying as I have our number listed on " Do NOT CALL LIST" but it isn't working!

somebody called on behalf of police dept. asking for donation. it is weird

Dey called yesturday n ask for me n said dey were mike..I called bak n da number not in service! How is dat possible?

This number has been calling for the last week. The other day they called and my son answered the phone and they asked to speak to my husband.My son told him he wasn't here and he hung up.He just called back about 20 min. ago, I tried to call the number back, but got a mesage saying the number was not in service.

they called about 4:50pm and nobody would answer....i am also on the do not call list...makes ya wonder??

973-559-5228 called (we are also on the DO NOT Call list) and comes up as Verona, NJ.

The guy was so creepy and didn't make sense (he hung up on me!) that I tried to call him back.

I immediately got an automated response saying the phone was disconnected. I called the operator immediately. They informed me (we use Comcast phone) that you can do *60 for call screening. It allows you to block the previous number (or enter another number/s) who have called you. It is a free service. also, because it was so creepy  - they informed me that *57 will automatically trace the call and forward onto our local police. I would recommend calling your operator and/or phone service to see what your options are. There are options. These people calling are losers.

Smooth talking telephone solicitor came on line, addressed me by name, and said he was soliciting for a police organization.  I said I wasn't interested, which he misheard as my being interested.  He was well into his spiel as I hung up.

I just rec'd a call from an Unknown.973-559-5228 asking for the lady of the house.  I asked for his name, which he volunteered as Justin.  I told him I did not recognize his name and he hung up.  My phone is unlisted and  on the "Do not call list", so I do not know why I continue to get these calls.  By the way, Anon, I have been told by a police Captain that police organizations do not solicit via phone.

Same number keeps calling, I said I was having major back surgery and to please try me again in one year for the Police Athletic League.  He said ok, and they continue to harrass me.
