The person calling from this number, Lucy Quinto, cold called me to offer me a 'free 15 minute psychic reading'. We have never met and she told me she found me from my business web site.
She said she only has contact with people on the phone and that she could help me.  
In a matter of seconds on the phone she told me that she never meets with people and I should not either. She said it was bad for me to be around people and she could help me (she kept saying this - that she could 'help'. With what and why she would call a complete stranger and tell them they needed help I do not know.)
I told her that I was going to be in New Jersey soon and am always interested in meeting up with like minded folks, perhaps we could have a cup of coffee or something.
She very seriously told me that I'm 'sensitive' and she could help me with my situation. When I told her I did not have a 'situation' (i.e. I was simply going to be in New Jersey working) she called me arrogant and hung up. The entire call was less than two minutes.
This is a typical fear based predator tactic that is way too often used in the psychic community - amoung others - to entrap people into 'healing' their 'issues' through the psychics 'messages'.
This person was pushy, rude and insulting. She was only after money and was using fear to get it. Beware of people calling you with 'free' gifts.

This woman called me too on 2-26-09 with almost the same story. She kept calling me honey, was rude, arrogant, loud and argumentative. When I told her that I did not agree with her as to her psychic interpretation of my situation which was way off base, she yelled at me that I was blocking, and stated she couldn't possibly work with me and hung up.  I was offended too and shocked at her behavior. I, too, received a call from Lucy Quinto (3/15/09) and found her manner to be similar to what you and another person have described on this page.  (Manuipulative, rather negative and an extremely poor listener).

Quinto initially said she is a "healer" who conducts all of her readings by phone.  She gave me the phone 973-586-2128, and I said I would pass it along.  Before I could hang up, she then embarked on a discussion of what a mess she thinks my finances are -- which is totally inaccurate.  I thought to myself, "Healer" or "Financial Consultant"!?  I gave her some feedback to this, but sensed she didn't hear a word I said.

Apparently Quinto is a RN and on the faculty of a NJ university.

So Lucy Frank the nut from Parsippany, NJ, became Lucy Quinto the nutty "psychic" from Rockaway, NJ!

Lucy Frank (aka Lucy Quinto) is not on any faculty. Apparantly she's been able to push herself into new-age presentations at FDU. If you read her history via Google searches, you'll see that she's re-invented herself a few times. Now can you say SCAM ARTIST?

I got a call from here today too. 3-26-09. She said all of these things about me that were not true. When I tried to give her feedback, she said I was difficult to work with and then hung up on me. She was rude and arrogant. Not a good call to have with someone.

Got the same call and the same schtick from Lucy Quinto at the same number. She said "I AM THE HEALER" and branded me as unworkable and unhelpable. Uhh... Hello lady? YOU CALLED ME! Something's fishy here.

Oh yes, she said she holds two Master's degrees. Uhh humm...

Lucy Quinto 973-586-2969 said she got my phone number from my listing on Holistic Networker website. "God told her to call me." Same approach as previously reported: "You're blocked." She argued her "intuition" was accurate in "reading" me. She screamed, "You're f***ed up." and slammed the phone down because I disputed her abusive tactics as a valid therapeutic approach!

I received a call from lucy and had told me she received my name off a new age directory and offer me a free healing reading.
I searched for her name on google and found nothing..I am a Hypnotherapist and never thought of this as odd I normally get networking calls..so I listened and she was acting not like a healer but as a psychic.
She was pleasant to me and told her I was running late for a appt. she told me here is her number and the call ended I was unsure what it was all about and it was a sudden unexpected call.
I am grateful that I looked at this listing...thanks for sharing all your postings...

Today I got a call from this woman but I was busy with a patient and couldn't pick up.  I'm an acupuncturist and from reading the posts here, I suppose she is just grabbing numbers from holistic directories.  If she calls back, I'm going to play her at her own game and just say, "Hello Lucy, my intuition told me that you would be calling soon", and then maybe offer her a free phone reading.

This woman is a lunatic and should be stopped. I am an Alternative Health Practitioner and she calims to be a psychic.
She is giving a really bad name to the profession. Please help in any way you can.

Similar to above. Emphasized her great "intuitive powers". When I responded that I, too, have a good intuition she told me I was being "intellectual" and was "blocking", said something else dismissive (= rude) and hung up.

Oh this is good. I'm so glad I found this web page! I think I can top all of your stories. She called me this morning and went on about being a healer and how other healers call themselves psychic and they don't know the difference but that she can read energy and is very intuitive. So I decided to engage in this conversation and see what she had to say, because I myself am a psychic and a medium...how's that for irony? So about 15 minutes in I asked her what she was sensing about my intuitive abilities and she said I am very sensitive but don't pay attention to the messages. I then asked if she could tell me how to clock a person's energy and she kept interrupting me and getting all defensive. I said "I happen to be a psychic and a medium but sometimes I have a hard time blocking it out." She said, "NO, you are not either and the information you get is inacurate." She went on for a bit telling me what an imagination I have and I said, "really? So how is it that I get a persons name and details and people validate this information for me?" and she went on to say that "it's all inaccurate and you don't get people's names, I don't even get people's names." She became very rude and I said I had to go and hung up.

This woman needs to be stopped. Who do you even report people like this to? She is going to prey on a lot of people because if she can learn to keep her aggressive side in check, I guarantee she will sell some people on her scam!

Another Lucy Quinto sighting! She called me three days ago asking to do a free healing on the owner of our dayspa, so we could "refer people to her." She was rather offended when I said she needed to send a list of references and that the boss only meets with people in person before referring anyone. Apparently she has changed her phone number, too.

I would suggest that you report her for harrassment to your local police and use her phone number as a reference (since you don't have a driver's license). We've done that for the occasional "no-no massage" calls we get when the whorehouse around the corner gets busted - that way, you have a record of previous contact should they ever visit you or call you again.

Just off the phone with Lucy Quinto. My story is similar to Lynn's on Sept 10.
I am an intuitive/clairvoyant healer and actually earn my living as such. She called to offer a free phone reading, said she was psychic and that she "was born this way". She pulled my number off of my byRegion.net listing (a holistic services website), went on to tell me that while I'm "sensitive", I'm not at all psychic and it's not the work I should be doing.  As the conversation progressed, her tone became very agitated to the point of being aggressive and argumentative. I let her know that the conversation was complete and hung up.  This woman appears quite disturbed. I will report this to byRegion.net, but I question if there is really any recourse from a random caller such as Lucy. I just hope she doesn't harm anyone in her tirades.
I'm glad to have found this site right away.

Wow, giving a bad name to psychics -- now THAT is an accomplishment!

Received call 10/2/09 - offering complimentary healing session, on the phone and that it would take only a few minutes. She said lives in NJ, she does all of her work on the phone and does not see people personally. She found my phone number at byRegion.net and wanted to give me a healing. I was curious about why she would want to give me a healing if she had read my information on by Region.  

This really felt strange so I immediately did my lean test and was almost knocked down by the huge no I received.  When I told her this, she seemed to switch gears and described a NY healer who never turns anyone away, working on everyone who comes to her.  Lucy seemed to imply that it is not appropriate to work on everyone who comes to you.  Her words sounded rehearsed or she was reading from some text and as if she were trying to maintain a connection.  Then all of sudden she quickly ended the call.  

I do not work on others without their permission and unsolicited healings are dangerous.  Perhaps she is targeting healers?  The call lasted less than three minutes.   Very creepy after reading the other messages.

Thank you all so much for validating my inner voice.....beware; she is using another phone number as well; 973-586-2128. I don't have caller ID; but that is the contact number she gave me.  She really got under my skin....
