This guy by the name of Rany calls wanting to speak to my wife. I asked who was he and what was it pretaining to he couldn't tell me anything. So I let him speak to my wife where as he wanted to verify her social. She never did and Randy was ver persistant in getting her social before contining the call. SCAM

This is a  SCAM!!! They took 1000.00 out my account because they scared me about a debt due!

They call my cell phone at least once a week! I refuse to answer. They never leave a message...

I received calls from this number looking for a family member i have told them in the past they don't live here and have the wrong number and not to call again but as you can see i'm still receiving them.

Hi, I was trying to look this up as well and didn't find any answers so I just called it back. The lady spoke to fast but what I got out of it was "Something" Credit Recovery. I think it maybe something like a collection agency. I just kind of hung up on her face. Hope this helps!

Called looking for details on a step-sibling we have had no contact with for 10 years.  Gave them no info...

They called me once on 10/23 and just called me this morning. Gave them no info, well, actually, I did not answer the call either time, but they didn't leave a message anyway.

We are an employer, they called to confirm our mailing address because they were to send us a garnishment order.  We gave them the address and basic information.  I just like to know what type of company is calling or is this coming straight from the courts office.

This is Pioneer Credit Recovery, a third-party collection agency. They are owned by Sallie Mae (student loans).

I have been calls from this number for the past 2 weeks.  We just got the number a month ago.  They never leave a message and I did not try to call back.

they called my husband at work demanding that he give them my bank account number to paid for an over due debt. They have also called asking for my husband or me trying to get bank information . Never give out any personal information to any unknown caller.

They called me asking and sounding pretty demanding.

It's one of Sallie Mae's harassing strong arms.

They called me at 8:04pm.

MA LAW under the FDCPA says they legally CAN NOT call anyone, not even a debtor after 8p.m.

I hate Sallie Mae

They have totally ruined my life.

They called cell phone twice and wanted verification of last four digits of SSN; didn't give and told them to quit calling or I'd call the police.  Turns out they're called "Pioneer Credit Recovery" in Sussex County New Jersey (featured on Dateline last March, 2009 for their illegal ways of getting information and harassing people).

So do we ignore them or do we give them what they want?

They call my cell frequently.  It says it is from New Jersey.  I do not answer and they do not leave a message.

They called my cell, knew my name, number, and address. Wanted me to give a message to a neighbor (but did not give me a valid name for any of my neighbors). Scary they know so much info. I would not recommend answering or returning ANY calls from this number.

This Company called my cell and asked for me by name regarding one of my neighbors (late teenager or early 20s neighbor's son). My cell phone number is actually on my Company Plan and the billing does not even go to my house. I also believe it is scary they know this much information and I will not be returning their call either. They left an alleged "reference id" of F43489 and the name they left to call back was something like "Maintenance Willusky" but it is hard to understand.

Got a phone call from this number, asking for my wife in regards to contact information for her ex-husband who she had not seen in over 10 years.  Stunk like a scam.
