I got a message from this number in the middle of the night last night about one of my credit cards. Anyone have a similar phone call? I was half asleep when I answered so I don't remember all that was said.

Yes.  It is a scam going around the Ft. Wayne area.  Do not call or reply back.  They want you to input your info so they can steal it.  I have had 3 calls in the past week....from 3 different numbers!!?

I got a call today about one of my credit cards and the told me that my card had been inactavaited. to press some number to actavite again.

the do not call list is for land lines & cellphones. it's free and provided through the government website www.donotcall.gov there you can list all your phone numbers- they will send you an email with a link to complete the request- this needs to be done within 72 hrs. There is a link to file a complaint as well. Good Luck! Also keep in mind that there are people "out there" who post in attempt to get a rise out of others- try to overlook them. i got a call from this number right now at 948pm in washington state... sayin they are the bank of whitmen an my card has been deactivatd an press one to re activate...i use us bank lol [***] fraud people dont let people steel ur money

I got the same call that Derek did, at 8:33PM May 14th 2010, also Washington state also stating that it was the Bank of Whitman, that my ATM card has been deactivated.
I have sent a message to that bank to notify them.
