Called from 'chimney solutions' and asked if I was the homeowner. I am not and asked this woman what services the company provided. She said that she couldn't tell me because I am a minor (I am actually 23) I told her I'm not a minor, she said 'yes you are' I said, 'I'm not, a minor is under 18' she said, 'no actually it's 21' and she hung up on me! I called the number back and it rang until I got an automated message saying the number is unavailable. I called back twice more and got the message immediately, no rings.

This number called me  but no response when I answered

Picked up the phone, no response, called back and said they are unavailable.

Called about having them do a  chimney inspection and cleaning. Pure Scam.

i got same call today 8/28/2014 from phone number 973-588-8888
asked if i was homeowner and i asked who they where and the reply was chimney solutions.
i asked them not to call and i told them i also had their phone number and was reporting them.
they hung up fast.

I have a relative who used *69 to reveal this number is calling practically every other day but instead of a sales call its an annoying noise.  It was beginning to make her nervous since it happens very often

Your relative needs a call blocker.  For a land line a cell blocker is a device that plugs in between the phone and to connection on the wall to block calls.  It can be purchased on-line or at an electronics store.  For a cell phone ask the relative's carrier.  They may include call blocking as part of the service or can suggest an ap that can be downloaded.
