Hi I believe I recieved this phone number today.Could you please tell me what company this is.I believe it is  a debt collection agency number.Thankyou very much From Rich

This is a collection agency.  

My experience is that after 16 years, a discharged debt that did not belong to me but my ex-husband has resurfaced and the company that bought the debt has been trying every trick in the book to collect from me even including but not limited to leaving messages enticing me to call or damaguing information was going to released to the public and that I would need representation and sending me balance due bills - that are similar to a doctor's billing statement as well as stating that the past debt would be discharged if I pay 20% of the debt owed.  

They cannot collect any monies from you after 7 years unless it is a legit IRS debt and the IRS does not threaten you ever nor do they not leave their name and number - same applies to any federal, state or local government agency - no matter what line of bull they try to feed you.  These people are unscrupulous and call at all hours of the day and night - beware.  

Although the company has never been idenitifed - I believe it is a company called Northland Group, 7831 Glen Roy Road, Edina, MN 55439 - there is no phone number listed for them.  

Please check all 3 of your credit reports to see if they accessed your credit report.

If you have ATT - you can subscribe to smart limits for $4.99 a month and block their number(s).  This group seems to have an army that although the calls originate from the 202 area code, the return call number they leave is a NJ area code - 973

I started receiving phone calls from this number last week . I always let it go to voicemail, thay never leave a call back number or a message. The name that shows up on caller id is IQOR.
