This person has contacted me on several occasions stating there is a lawsuit against me and I do not owe anything to anyone....When I told him he was a sma, he hung up on me. He said his name was officer James Wilson....

I got the same call also. When I received the first call my caller ID showed the number 052-480-189. It looked strange, so I answered the call. The same legal claim was told to me, he told me who had this claim against me, big mistake. I called the company and that's when I found out it was a scam.

I'm in the army and my unit received a call from 973-929-2278. "Officer Jack Wilson" asked for me. When I returned from SGTs time training, my commander was waiting on me. He damanded that I tell him what's going on. I owe no-one anything. No-one has filed a lawsuit on me either.

i have received several calls using  this number as a cll back but that is not the number that shows when they call,it doesn't even look like a phone number. He tells me i need to give him $300 over the phone or i will be arrested. when i aske dwhat its for he says i got a payday loan from cash advance usa in oct.2010..there is no money deposited in my account from cash advance usa...also i looked on cash advance usa's website to see if this is there number... it states if anyone calls claiming to be on there behalf it is a scam... they do not call on phone....anyone know who to call to stop this or report to authorities?

I got a call from a 000000 # and let it go to voicemail, I then checked it and they left #973-929-2279 to call them back because they have a lawsuit out for me and blah blah blah and then I looked up the # and saw on here that they are fraud so I answered the next time they called and told them off! I told them how I know they are fraud and I will sew them if they call me again and that I can see him and I know who he is.The man cursed me out and I could barely understand him and I told him he needs to speak English and he got even more upset and called me the nastiest names ever so I laughed at him. He then hung up!!

I got a phone call from this number stating that would be taking me to court i dont have a loan with them

i also got a call from a 0000000000# and the guy said that there is a lawsuit with my name on it... i coulded really understand everything he said but i think he said his name was chikpuu brown and left the number 9739292279 and said to call asap... not knowing it was a scam i called the number back and a automated message said that the ext. 502506 was busy and that his mailbox was full then hung up... 5 seconds later the same guy calls and asks for me again this time i talk to him and i told him how to pronounce my name and he just hung up... and now they keep calling back and i refuse to answer it.... what should i do to get them to stop?

This is so funny because the ecact same thing happen to me, and when i told him to send me a copy of the money I owe then I would pay then he just started gettng really nasty and annoying, so i told him to have his lawyer call me.

Just letting you all know this guy continues to call even after i told him i know its a scam and i am recording you. I told him to send whoever because i have already called the authorities including attorney general,federal trade commission and fbi. He still started yelling saying he was sending people to get me. Just so you all know, all of the above departments said its a scam. I urge you all to call the federal trade commission as they are the only one who can do anything with just a phone number. Also they told me even if you did owe what they claim,they cannot come and arrest you. He said maybe where they ride camels thats how they do it but not here. So don't worry about them coming for you.

this guy officer james wilson at 973-929-2279 keeps calling and threating me, saying that i owe money which i do not.

I also am getting calls from this man, Officer Wilson and he is quoting my SS number and saying that the police will be out to arrest me for a complaint filed against my RN license with OSHA......I tried to call him back and keep getting a mailbox number. I am very uncomfortable with the fact that he has my SS #, what can I do to stop this?

Both my wife and I recieved a few calls today stating I owed money. Same name "Wilson" but not only did he threatend my family but stated he had all the police in his pocket!!! I asked for his name and address but refused to give any information. He said I would be arrested tomorrow.  The scary thing about this is he knew my name and got my wifes number too. I don't owe anyone money but I do hope he shows up to my house!! If anyone has any information ie.. address, new name etc please post here.

Got the phone call today while i was at work, He said his name is Officer Wilson. He knows my SS#,Drivers License#. (He left a message on my cell phone). I will go to the local police dept. already called Federal Trade Commission,State General and I am sick and tired of this bull cramp with this a**hole and other scammers. Why cant they get a real job and quit harrassing people are trying to make a living.We all got enough problems as it is besides all these d****m*****F***** people try to steal from us

When I came in to work there was a message left for me that someone posing to be a Officer Joe Brown. This doesn't even sound like a real name. This is like my third time experiencing this type of scam. This is the first time that they have actually called my work number. The other two times they would make calls on my cell phone. This is really starting to fustrate me that they are able to get hold of personal information.

I got the same call from 000-000-0000 from same officer, thick accent.  He told me also that I had a debt to pay and would take me to court.  The callback number I got was 973-929-2279.

#973-929-2279 called told me i owe money for cash advance....which i have never used...lol...then when i asked for there address he started getting [***]....so i did the same in return....i could barley understand him so i told him speak english....then he started talking about my mom...then i called NJ state police they said they will investagate....
