Phone number left in my bank statement w/ unauthorized charge to my checking account.  I called them, they only have message service and email to respond.  Not sure who they are, but definitely overseas.

I also am having the same problem. A charge of $2.95 showed up on my statement on 2/21/08 and my bank says I can fill out a dispute form which I will do since it has met the 3 day post time that my bank inforces. I don't know who these people are but I hope all our blogs stop this from happening.

Today - 3/4/08 I received an email alert I had subscribed to with my credit card company advising of a non-swiped credit card charge of $4.95 from a merchart with the name BENNU TECHNOLOGIES L.  The bank has advised I cannot dispute unless or until the pending charge becomes an actual charge on my account.  She said that could take up to 14 days.  I will watch my account via online banking and disputes if the charges goes through.  anyone know what these BENNU guys are up to?  I bet a lot of people don't bother to dispute such a small fraud.  Hope the credit card companies wise up and block this merchant from access.

I wrote in on Feb. 22 saying these people charged on my Visa Atm also. Well today my bank credited me the $2.95. Though it was a small charge it's best to report it and fill out the dispute forms incase they come back trying to take larger amounts. Good luck and fill out those dispute forms to cover yourself.

Yup.... me too! Posted on 3/18/2008. Luckly I check my account everyday and it's paid off.  I to have to dispute this, never made a charge to this company.  It's a scam, no doubt.  Unfortunately, it will tie me up for 10-14 days waiting for a new debit card.  Damn these greedy *@#*^*%.... get a job, work for your money like we do!!!

Same thing happened to me on Jan. 18th.  Needless to say I contacted my financial institution and reported the fraud, and they helped me shut things down. I'm glad you all are reporting this as well, and hope my testimony will help your cases as well.

I have the same problem.  I checked my bank statement and had a charge for $6.95  on 1/14/08 that was still pending. Contacted my bank and they said I had to wait until it cleared B/4 I can dispute it. It was a charge to Bennu Technologies LLC at this phone # in NJ.  When I called the # I got the same message as Shawn reported.  Am disputing it with the Bank to get it removed.  There are other ph #s that people are having the same problem with from scammers that appear 2/B from overseas.  One in particular is 866-395-6994.  Be careful out there and pay close attention to your financial statements!  There are many people out there trying to rip us off any way they can dream up.
