seems to be same originator as calls from 973-999-6515.  same caller id.  same response, that there is never anyone on the line.  they just call,  waste my time getting to the phone, then go away

I'm having the same issue, for weeks now. At one point, my daughter answered the phone. A young girl asked for me by name. When my daughter said I wasn't home, they meowed at her and hung up.  We've stopped answering the calls.

Call rec'd on a Sunday eve. @ ~ 8:30. Did not answer phone.  Caller left no message.  If happens repeatedly, will block this number.

Has called daily for three days now - no one answering.

One of the numbers I get calls from that asks to speak to so and so with a strange name.

How do I block this number?

I have been having this same problem w/973-999-6091 for about 2 yrs. now.  Claim to be w/the "NJ Police Association," for which I can find no information.  They call daily, and sometimes 3 times a day seeking phone donations.  I have contacted the NJ Dept. of Consumer Affairs re: the Do Not Call List & lodged a formal complaint, and urge everyone else to do the same -- safety in numbers!!:  http://www.nj.gov/donotcall/dnconlinefrm.htm

Contiually receive calls with on one on the line.  When I dialed the number back, the operator continually says "Your call cannot be completed as dialed.   Please check the number and dial again."

I receive calls on my home telephone the id notes 973-999-6091 - when I answer there is no response.  If I call the number back I get a recording stating, "this number cannot be completed as dialed".  I get these calls daily for the past week.

We are getting these calls as well. I think it's been going on for at least 2 months. I have my voicemail set for 4 rings and somehow this morning it even bypassed that and after 8 rings I answered and nobody was there.

Ok this is my 2nd post on this....I got another one today and my fiance answered and low and behold he actually had a live person on the phone. It is for police donations hahahaha go figure!

Calls have been coming 1-3 times a day for 2 months+. Normally I get no answer. It even bypasses my voicemail when I try to ignore it. Voicemail is set on 4 rings but they make the phone ring for at least 10. When I do pick up normally get nobody on the other end except for today when they claimed to be looking for donations for the NJ Police Association.

this number calls our house..never has anything to say. Calls constantly...I never answer it. How can we report this call.  What happened to three times a tlemarketer calls they get busted????

Yes - its a donation from a Police but if you donate IT DOES NOT go to your local police in fact most of it doesn't even trickle down to a police department.  I am on the do not call list and I STILL GET THEM.

NJ Prison Caller 973 999 6091/ Police Donation B.S..  Want to give to PBA write your own check and hand it to your local PBA Officer.  Its a beautiful thing to support local youth activities like little league sports and other intown youth activities.

I just got the 20th call from this number.  They have been calling at all hours and even after 8pm.  I finally got a live person that fought me when I asked to be removed forever. He said we would come up on the list every year evidently for yearly harassment.  I got a contact number to complain, 1-800-921-2022.  Of course the person was not there.  The operator hung up on me when I asked to be transferred to a supervisor.  Something has to be done about this harassment.  I give to my local police so they get ALL the funds not the scam small percentage.  Now if everyone is sick of this phenomenon call that 1-800 number and let's launch a counter attack just as annoying as theirs!  I mean come on hiding behind a fake number as not to be able to properly complain and report it is outrageous!
