caller said he would like to [***] my wife my sister then hung up like the [***] he is.
caller had strong arab accent.

Caller had an accent and said he was with Windows Supports.  They want access to your computer to infect it.  This has been widely reported on the news not to give access to your computer.

Called twice today, first time when I answered there was no reply so I hing up.  Let it go to vMail the second time.  Called previously about two weeks ago.  Trying to tell me my computer is corrupted and he represents Windows.  Clearly a scam.

As these 'calls from Microsoft' as scams from India, does anyone know how to cuss in HindI?  I SO want to tell the scumebag what I think of him, his poor excuse for a Mother AND the cow she rode into town on!

2nd time person with a Indian accent called. Claims computer had a virus.

8/15 11:52  Was out when called, but wouldn't have answered anyway because don't know anyone in Missouri.

Just rec'd call...no message left.  Caller ID: Missouri  is  Will block.

microsoft calling,,trouble with my computer,,right now, I get calls from this number about 2 times a month, since ,i  blocked the number, but is shows up on my caller ID,, it got so bad, I was getting 4 or 5 or more,calls from them a week, very heavy indian accent,, so I thought id have fun with them, I acted like I was interested. let him go thru all his scam pitch,,,,,(,i was thinking, hes on phone with me, he cant be bothering other people)

  after he told me mirrosoft found problems with my computer, I told him, how could this be??, when I DO NOT.. own a computer?, it was so funny to hear him stumble, trying to tell me in bad english,, oh you not have computer?,,i said how could find a problem, when I don't have one?, again stumbling, he said,,oh I must have the wrong number,, i had a good time,,kinda felt like i got back at them,,

Caller by the name of "michael" with a very thick arabic accent said someone was trying to hack my computer and that my computer was sending messages to Windows to alert them of illegal activity on my computer.  I acted like I was not computer savvy and said "I have to have my husband call you, what numbr can he reach you at?" caller hung up......

Just received not one but two calls this morning from this number...  1-975-964-2811

First call, auto-voice on other end said 'goodbye' and hung up after I said hello.

Second call the man with an accent from India? said he was from Microsoft and that my computer was sending out warnings, error messages, and that it was in danger of attacks and was infected.  Wanted to know who, if I was the person in charge of the computer and if so would I follow his directions to 'fix' my computer.  When I told him I would need his phone number to call him back once I spoke with my Tech Dept., he hung up...  go figure!

Just had the same call.. I couldn't understand anything he was saying. Had to have someone else talk to me, I told him he could call back this evening and speak to someone else. Has anyone here reported this to Microsoft?? And how do you block the number??

I got the call from exact same number

They call my home I share with my 90 yr old aunt three and four times a day saying the same thing they are from Windows. They had the nerve to call tonight at 11:15pm. My aunt has dementia and it wakes her up when the phone rings and then she has a hard time returning to sleep which in turn causes her to have a bad day the next day die to lack of sleep and her state of mind is even worse. Something needs to be done to these people!

Caller said he was going to blow up my computer.

Caller answered after I said 'Hello' a couple of times. Thick Mideast accent, lots of background noise hung up quickly. I'm going to block this number.

'Alex' accented male, 'tech dept of windows' = comp BS

calls but no one there when you answer.  Wife hung on for half a minute and finally heard "good night".  

Calling my home at 1:30 am this is total harassment from these idiots with false computer is infected scam. Phone company needs to shut them down. bad enough to get calls during daytime, but twice in the middle of the night is absurd.

So far today, (and I'm writing this at 2:30 PM, eastern time) I've gotten five calls from this number, including the first one at 8:30 AM! Finally blocked it, but I'm so tempted to pick up the phone the next time these nitwits call and blow a police whistle at them! BTW, thanks to 800notes.com for setting up this great forum!
