The call was not directly from this number but the message said to call this number back. The man said he was in Boston, had a thick Indian accent, and mentioned something about my credit score. He had the wrong number though because he mentioned who he was trying to get ahold of and that wasn't me.

This number is a scam! A guy with a thick Indian accent calls using the name Robert Francis who claims to be a detective for financing BFF whatever the heck that is. He also claims he's from Boston, MA. I mean come on who can't call their bluff. The best way to deal with them is to mess with them until they get frustrated and hang up. They won't call back again!

We also got a call from this same guy. He tied up several of of lines today. Being that we are a medical facility it has caused issued with staff giving patient care. This is dangerous and life threatening in our environment. Contact your local police department to file a complaint. Once you get a case number you can contact phone company to have the number blocked. Do NOT call it "collections" cause its not. They are probably using a service like Google voice to call from a foreign country. The guy is a fraudster.

The guy with the thick Indian accent went by the name of Jeff Scott (Scarb) with me.

I must be so frustrated because I got a call from someone named "ESTER" who was actually a guy.

I received a call today from this same number :978-339-4048 and it was Reginald Jones. Strong Indian accent and the company name was DFF. Saying that I need to call or my attorney because I owe money.

It's a scam. I asked for the number because it showed up "unavailable"

Received a call from this number at my work job harrassing me and I owe nothing to anyone.  Please have them to stop calling me at (336) 978-339-4048 .   Said if I did not call him back , I would be served .

978-339-4048 = Scam and Jeff Scott can go to H - E - double hockey stick!

I received a call at work but his name is Leroy Thompson . Indian accent. I want them to stop calling my job. I don't owe them anything. Their number is 978-339-4048

Calls our home care agency 40-50 times per hour for one hour, stops and then calls again a few hours later for a week at a time.  Then stops and calls again.  He is looking for $300 from one of my employees.

Huge scam.  Please post if someone has found a way to get Mr. Scott to stop calling.  He is from somewhere in South Asia, has a thick accent.

Same thing here. I work at Milford hospital and we are getting calls to our medical center employees from the same number and the caller has a thick indian accent. I did call the CID provider who is Peerless Networks for 978-339-4048 and 978-339-4026 and they (NOC) indicated that the calls are being spoofed outside of the network by another ip carrier like voip. Once contact is made to that voip carrier and a positive ID is made as to the business client Milford Police will be applying for an arrest warrant. At least the network carrier will be able to ID the proper perpetrator who is making these calls. Hopefully the warrant will shut them down and I am pretty confident the violator is an immigrant.

Call "Dan" at 312-506-0933 if you are a healthcare facility and speak with him. Dan is head of investigations and law enforcement subpoenas at Peerless Networks of Chicago, Il. They own the numbers 978-339- xxxx and apparently the number range is being spoofed. Once Peerless makes contact with the other carrier which appears to be voip calls, these calls are going thru the internet. You should register your complaints about these calls to "Dan" so that he sees that he has multiple problems and needs to provide business account information. It is against FCC Rules and Regulations for a carrier to refuse to shutdown these calls specifically to a healthcare facility. Violation is a $10,000.00 fine per occurrence. Once the rogue carrier is identified the business client is learned, call your police dept and have them coordinate a joint investigation  with Milford Police Milford, Ma.

He is also calling my place of work stating that I owe $500 and I need to pay now or they will continue the harassing calls.  I do not know how to make this man stop he is crazy!

This man, Reginald Jones, has been calling my cell phone and work number telling me that I owe $500 and I must pay now to stop the calls.  He is also spoofing from a number that belongs to a Raymour and Flanigan store in Pennsylvania.

Tried this, he keeps calling!

I've beee getting these calls on and off for over two years. They finally gave me a case number and told me they were taking me to court.  I called my attorney, there is no such case number.  I've tried having the number blocked, they just use other numbers to get connected to me then transfer to this number.

I received a called from this number and the guy mentioned that his name was Bill Anderson and he said that I made a loan with a cash advance loan place. I explained to him that I have no loan of such. Then he started threatening me and my family to pay. This people has been calling me from 5am in the morning everyday for the last 2 weeks. He wouldn't give me the name of the company. Though he has my Social Security number and where I work.

It was the same thick Indian accent who called harassing me a few weeks ago.He called twice asking for somebody who doesn’t work here. He says he has “an investigation and needs to reach him”.
When I told him “I can’t help you, he doesn’t work here” he yelled “I’M NOT ASKING FOR YOUR HELP!”
I said “what do you want from me?”
He said “I want you to take my name and number!”
This time his name is “Jeff Scott”.
When I said “I know who you are and we are taking legal action if you do not stop calling here” he hung up.

Please stop them from calling this number they are claiming that i owe them money and i was stupid enough to send the money via western union and the money was deducted seeing as they did not provide any dob for the reeiver they are now calling me to switch the receiver name. I refused and this is a scam!!!

The number, 9783394048, has called my place of employment over 30 times in one hour and they eventually called the sheriff's department. I looked up the number online because he called my wife's number and called her every foul-mouthed name in the book. We called the attorney generals number this morning and they said that for them to do anything, they would need his address. I am currently trying to get that from him but he says he won't give it to me until I am at walmart at their western union filling the form out. This is an OBVIOUS scam and I hope this jerk gets caught!
