Left message stating that free cell phones are giving away in my area and to call back to the 800 number...

It said TFZ LLC on the caller ID, inferring it's a legitimage attorneys' office.  Then it said something like in order to improve cellphone reception in your area, new free cellphones (listed a bunch of manufacturers) were being made available for a limited time.  WHAT BS!  I reported them to FTC.

Left voicemail offering to lower my credit card interest rates and repeatedly asked me to press 1 now.

Offers to Lower Your Interest Rates:
The calls begin with a recording that makes a tempting offer to lower your credit-card interest rates. Then you are switched to a live agent who collects from you the credit card number and its expiration, name, address, and in some cases even your social security number. The telemarketers have no intention of giving consumers better interest rates on their cards and instead use the information to commit identity theft and run up unwanted charges.
Again, tracing these scam artists is difficult: they spoof the caller ID information and use numerous VOIP accounts set up using stolen credit cards. The best thing to do is hang up, report the call to FTC and warn others through 800notes.com.

Telemarketing Travel Fraud:
These scams have many variations and often involve travel packages that sound legitimate. You get a phone call and the caller is saying that you have been selected to receive a free trip. Skilled salespeople will tell you, to be eligible for the free trip, you must join their travel club. Later, you may find another fee is required to make your reservation. Check out the company with your state, provincial and local consumer protection office before you buy any product or service. Also, be wary of "great deals" and free offers. Few legitimate businesses can afford to give away products and services of real value or substantially undercut other companies' prices.

These people call me continuously under the "Obama Stimulus" plan offering to lower my mortage rate.  Have asked on several occasions to be put on the do not call list.  Then they hang up on me or get agressive and raise their voices.

Got a call today, and the incomplete voicemail stated that I was possibly the victim of a predatory loan and that it looked like our current mortgage lender might have to drop our payments... then it cut off.  Both times.

keep getting these calls and want them to stop

got a call on my cell phone from this number. Didn't leave message. Shows as "suspicious" number on various phone ID sites.

call mentioned something about Obama's stimulus plan, said they'd work with my lender to reduce my monthly mortgage payments... I actually answered the damned call because the phone number didn't look suspicious...

Was told that they were following President Obama's directive to help my problems with my mortgage. I have a good loan, good fixed rate, and have never been late. [***].

I registered with the Do Not Call plan when it first came out.

Evil bottom-feeders. Hope they get nailed. As if anybody is accountable these days.
