Received a call, with no message, from (978) 570-2447.

978-570-2447 called me yesterday, I didn't pick up but they are identified on my phone as Service Message.

I did some tracking down by aknowledging I was interested in the sevice. I got a call back from 334-581-1112 and was hung up on when I asked about the company. I called that number back and got a recording which prompts me to call 916-570-2447 is I am a cutomer and need to schedule an appointment with a sales rep. That number is for Maximum Security Alarms located at 1545 Riverpark suite 450, Sacramento, CA 95815. I had filed multiple FCC complaint forms and encourage all to do so. I am getting several calls a day from this automated scam.

I called the phone number listed on the web page for www.maximumsecurityonline.com, 888-564-5621, selected 1 for "Customer Service". A human answered and I explained that I wished to be removed from the spam dialer. She took my number, explained that it takes 48 hours for a number to be removed. Be sure to ask her to read the phone number back to you, as she had noted mine incorrectly.

I usually don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize, but I was expecting an important call. Person on the other end was selling home security systems. I said I was not interested and hung up.

I suspect they will call back. That's what happened to me. It's an auto-dialer. See my earlier post, on how to get your number off their list.

I just sent a complaint to the FCC Consumer Complaints listed above. I have received a call yesterday and today.  I answered yesterday as I was waiting for a call and just answered it.  Told the person I was busy and hung up.  I didn't answer today.

I'd like to know well in the hell, I am getting calls after being put on the "DO NOT CALL" list.  I better not get any more or I am going to see my attorney regarding harrassing phone calls.

Got a call from this number and when I went to call it back the line was busy and stayed busy?!..........

I am betin most of the calls are to end users that have Direct TV or have had it.

Was a recorded voice asking questions about a home security system.  Asked if I was interested in getting a free GE security system for allowing them to place a small sign in my yard.  I told them I already had a security system and didn't need one.  The recording said, "I understand.  Are you currently under contract for monthly monitoring service?"  I replied, "yes" and the recorded message thanked me for my time.

I have registered my line on the national do not call list and do not take solitation calls.  From reading other recepients comments I have no desire to call back this number as they are obiously looking for business

OMG I used to use direct tv. I bet anything this is true!

I didn't pick up.  They left no voice mail.

I too am on the DO NOT CALL list, but in the last year or so it seems to be violated much more than in the past.  I have confirmed I am still on the list, too.  In particular I get calls from local companies soliciting for my business; I let them know I'm on the list and tell them never to call again... we'll see.  :-(

Peter Puller, you need to take a chill pill.  Find some nice b!tching forum to relieve your stress with like minded, angry people.

here's what i do, don't recognize the number DON'T ANSWER IT it's that simple. then i just google the number and look at all of the complaints about it ......

American Express trying to collect a debt over 7 years old. I think Bush changed the law so they can start calling you again. Beware!!!

I, too, am on the no call list.   I get several of these calls every day.   I contacted the Sacramento office of the security company and told them to take me off their call list.    I also called back multiple times to the 978 570 2447 number to use their auto removal feature.    Hopefully they will be charged for each callback!   VERY annoying.
