    Express Scripts.  Once you start using them, you can't use a Military Pharmacy for refills ever again.  Just hang up.

    What could possibly be so important that Express Scripts would robo call me at 12:06 PM on Sunday?  Right at lunch time, no less.  My answering machine picked up, and the robo voice said "is this Rebecca"  then a pause, then "I'm sorry, I didn't quite get that".  How about this.  Go away.  If I need something, I'll call you.  Otherwise, bug off.

    This is not exactly true. IF you choose to use a civilian pharmacy, you WILL pay MUCH more. They want all military to use Express Scripts due to cost.
    There ARE some medications such as Class II and Class III which cannot be mailed.

    You also have the choice of going to an MTF pharmacy if one is close enough to you.

    Robot;

    "Hi, this is Express Scripts, administrator of your prescription health benefits."

    No you're not, robot, you called a business. A business that DOESN'T use Express Scripts.

    ...something doesn't pass the snuff test.

    OK -- this is a legitimate call from Express Scripts.  I received one this morning and hung up when it asked for my birth date.  I went online to get a contact number for ES and called.  Press 0 to talk to a human.  She verified the personal info I gave her so she could look at my account.  She also verified that ES did, indeed, attempt to contact me this morning concerning a request for renewal my dr had not responded to.  She says the call begins with questions to verify that whoever has answered the phone is who they are calling.  I told her that I did not give that kind of information in a call that I had not initiated, and in the future, would hang up and call ES myself.  So I recommend that if you have received a call from ES that you need to contact them yourself because there is probably some information they need from you or need to tell you.

    I do not consider ES to be a telemarketer.

    I verified that the number is that of Express-Scripts, and the message left on my answering machine was a notification that one of my prescriptions would be mailing soon.   I am a retiree of the United States Army, on a limited pension, and do not live near an active military base, thus, when I receive, with a minimal co-payment drugs, that if purchased from a Pharmacy, would cost me over $1300.00 over the counter, why would I, when my co-pay, for the 90 day supply is less than $20.00.
    Do I feel guilty for using Tri-Care For Life and Express Scripts?  Not one bit, for those are several of the benefits that were spoken of when I would be asked to re-enlist for another four years.

    Easy Cowboy17.  They're aren't telemarketers.  They're part of the Tricare Military Pharmacy.  Veteran's can use them instead of using facilities on bases, or VA hospitals.  It's cost effective in the long run for the vet, as commercial pharmacies can be expensive and government regulations do not allow vets to get meds on the outside for long-term treatment, unless they use Express Scripts as their pharmacy.  If you were a vet you would have known this.  Why you were contacted?  I have a good guess, but I would hate to insult you online.  Have a nice and wonderful day, and I really hope you don't kiss your mother with that mouth.  It's very unbecoming of anyone, even those who hide online.

    Ben, you are so wrong.  Do your homework and quit being a dumbass on these sites.  You are spreading lies and none of your information is factual.  I feel really sorry for you.  If you were a vet, you would realize how wrong you are, but by the depth of your...well, let's say ignorance on the topic, you don't know squat.  So, please stay away from these sites.  Get a life, and post legit information by doing your homework first.  Thank you Ben.

    It is NOT a site where you need to rant about known callers!

    You spelled it wrong. You're a Mutha, not a Mother. Ben's no dumbass, and you're obviously just one of those VA lackies. First of all, thanks for supporting those who kill my brothers, [***]. Several friends have died because of the VA putting off needed care and Express Scripts screwing up their meds. That lousy bunch of bureaucrats strung them along for years. Those scumbags don't care and would rather see us die so they can save money and get their bonus. You don't give a damn, and never will, so quit trying to claim you do and quit passing on the bureaucratic line.  We don't care if you don't get your yearly bonus for killing Veterans and we know better than to trust anyone who supports those bureaucratic scumbags so shut the hell up and go away.
