I got 2 calls today from this number. I called back and a recorded message says that his caller id was stolen by large pharmaceutical company and he begs to report this to FTC???

I won!t answer cell phone they call me every ten minutes

This number has been calling me 5-6 times a day for more than a week now. I wont answer it and I aint calling it back either. Goes to voicemail but does not leave any message.

They call me at least twice each day.  I reported them to FTC today.

Getting calls from same number 5 times per day. 978-855-7490. No one is  on the other end so not sure what is happening. Has anyone connected with anyone on the other end?

Just talked to an FTC and left complaint. They think its spoofing where people can make it look like they are calling from another number. The FTC person said we should also report to the Attorney General at the State Level. For California that is  1-800-952-5225.

I just read about this in the Boston Herald (the smaller of the 2 big metro dailies in the Boston area). The owner of this business got a lot of telemarketing calls for Viagra and "threatened to report the company. Last Friday, a caller warned that he was about to receive “thousands and thousands” of calls."

I don't think it was a large pharmaceutical company that was spoofing his caller ID. It was probably a small group of organized criminals.

Thanks for the research --- I'm glad the words getting out about this story and these fraud companies -- I am the victim in the story and I hope this lights a fire under the FTC and the FCC and we can get some protection and go after these frauds and shut them down for GOOD!!!
