I got a call from this Christy Lane person stating that she worked for AMI Investigations and that I had 2 days to get this matter resoloved.  When you pull up this number it doesn't say anything about Investigations.

She did the same to me but said she was filing papers on me but not even in my County what happened with yours

What happened??

I just got another call from her stating she was going to file papers on me tomorrow. I didnt answer. She called me the other week and said she was filing them on that Tuesday now she is calling me today stating she is filing them tomorrow.

She stated that she was gonna file papers on me tomorrow. I will keep you posted.

No one gets a heads up they'll be served - the process server just shows up, unannounced.  Or you receive the summons via registered or certified mail - and have to sign for it - this would be delivered by a uniformed USPS employee.  The calls you received are merely a scam attempt.

If you are the "Curious" from 26 Jul and later posts and have been threatened several times that they are serving or filing papers against you in the next day or so and have not been served, then they are not going to be filed.  This almost certainly is a debt collector trying to scare you into paying a debt you do not owe or is too old for them to sue you about.

Yes thank you for the reply I have never had this happen to me before and I am very uneasy about all of this. It has been nice to communicate with others going through the samethings

Entirely different call from those above.  A femaile voice decries that government collects dues for unions.  "To be connected to your state senator, press 1."

I got the same message as TJ in Texas.
