- DontCallMeNowThey left a message on my Verizon Voice Mail telling me that I had been selected to receive a special loan for my business...
My business is now and always has been 100% capitalized by my own funds and I don't require any financial assistance from anyone, anywhere, at any time.
Only answered this call because we are now working on a gas and oil lease on our property in Kentucky and I thought this might be yet another company interested in bidding.
Just entered the 979 area code into my Call Blocker Plus.- Caller: El Campo, Texas

- Greg M SRGot a call from this number, went to voice mail, no message was left. Going to block after reading your posts. Thank you very much
- Jthis phone number calls me several times per week saying I may have qualified for $$. I have asked repeatedly to be taken off the call list. Scum bags if you ask me.
- Caller: who knows?

- GRCalled twice from this number. I called it back got busy signal, called again got "non working number" notification. I signed on to the no call list, since then I'm getting increasing amounts of soliciting calls.
- Adam OlsenWill not let you talk to them. Refuse to acknowledge anyone who doesn't want spam calls. If you try to talk to a person about anything other than getting a business loan, they will hang up on you.
- Caller: Business Loan Center?

- Bob the hunter.| 1 replyYour job is to frustrate the caller. There is no way to get off of their call-list. This is a spoof number and an illegal call. Even if what they're offering is legit they are already off to a bad start by breaking the law. Your other option is to use an app like "Numbercop".

- PEZ| 1 replyAutomated call from El Campo, TX. This insanity could stop today if the telcos weren't complicit in this racket. The technology exists to stop this at the source, but that would cut into ATTVerizonComcastCoxTimeWarner's profits. DoNotCall is a joke and the TelSpammers are the only ones laughing. Look at the fees in your phone bill and ask where they are really going. Definitely not towards stopping law-breaking telemarketers. We are paying first-world rates for third-world service. Everyone blames the scumbag telemarketers, but the real blame lies with the telcos and the FCC.

- BenAn exciting offer from "Howard in the Loan Department". I can get up to $250,000 for my business. Every time these guys call I push buttons to talk to a human and tell them that I'm on the Do Not Call registry and to put me on their own list and they just hang up. Blocking the number doesn't seem to do any good because I keep getting calls from El Campo, TX with the same kind of crap every time.

- JoeFCC is a joke on this. Their recording says they are aware and taking measures.
I have been receiving these calls for a year, in spite of being on the do not call JokesOnYOUlist ...
This is NY CITY Wolf on Wall St. crap ... I did get one guy to FINALLY bread it down, after HE thought he could troll me on the phone and I trolled him and his "ass-cociates" right back ...
The pick up bizness listings (MINE is private but USED to belong to a florist shop, yea) of GOOGLE and then robo-call ...
Cursing them sometimes stops one spoof, beyond that, they just rotate from one to the next to the next ...
The FCC could EASILY put a stop to it, the tech is there ... but no one stops Wall Street ........- Caller: ????

- BobPre-recorded call (I hate that, immediate NO SALE) to business line, that I'm already "qualified", but then some Hispanic-sounding woman had to ask me some other qualification info. Seemed like they really didn't have any idea who they were calling. Eventually got transferred to someone at Capital Advance Solutions (capitaladvancesolutions.com). They basically will send you money (not that I was looking for any at all) and will then ACH deduct money from your bank account daily until repaid. Was not able to give me any idea how much such a loan would actually cost me (loan term, APR, daily ACH withdrawal amount, etc) unless I sent them bank records and filed an application for a loan which I was not even seeking out. On the positive side, they are actually registered as a business in New Jersey since 2007, which matches the registration date of their domain name.
Also have seen at least one reference on Reddit where they are mailing "checks" to people trying to get them to get loans from them. The thread wasn't that complimentary on the practice.
Although many of you commented that the TelCo's can stop this, they really can't. They have no legal authority to deny them access to telecommunications. Legislation hasn't stopped it. The DNC hasn't stopped it. Technology hasn't stopped it. The only way to stop it is kill their profits. The best way to do that it talk to them. Act interested and keep them on the phone as long as possible. Each minute you/they talk is a minute where a sale is not made. They make thousands of calls, using mindless robocalls that can easily afford to let you miss the call or hang up on them. What they CAN'T afford is for every call to be answered and pitched to, spending time on a fruitless call with no sale.- Caller: Capital Advance Solutions, LLC

So tired of being interrupted at work by these useless, annoying calls!
Can't ANYTHING be done to stop this ridiculousness?!- Call type: Telemarketer
- JFI asked them what the name of their company was so that I can report them to the feds. I love the Iphone feature of blocking calls. I wonder if it has a limit.

- Ultimate Payback| 2 repliesIm getting the ultimate payback. This number called my personal cell which is on the DNC list. The company website is capitaladvancesolutions.com. I own a digital marketing company and have tons of great software to use on spammers. I will set up the software to create bogus emails and flood their contact form and email addresses they list on the contact page. I will use some funny names in the name fields to let them know this is a result of their law-breaking tactics.
Everyone, flood these spammers inbox! Go to http://capitaladvancesolutions.com/contact-us/ and use phony email addresses. Once I kick my software on, it will crash their server BAAHAHAHAHA!- Caller: Capital Advance Solutions

- Ultimate Payback| 1 replyI just found that the SEND cutton on the contact form can be pressed repeatedly and it will send them blank emails. They dont have the contact form set up properly so the fields can be blank. Just click on the send button as fast and as much as you want. This will waste their time as they have wasted ours!
- Julio GuapoLooks like this pond scum is active this AM. Must be sunny in its Texas swamp. It rings my phone about 4 times a week. It changes its "caller ID". This AM it is "customer service". I am not its customer, and it serves nothing except slime. Phony slime.
- Caller: "Customer Service"

- abolishchildsexabuse.com| 5 repliesThe way to handle these calls is to answer them, pretend to go along, then give them phoney info. What goes around should come around.
- MidNYteStorm replies to abolishchildsexabuse.com| 4 repliesThat I will never do.
- Bob replies to Ultimate PaybackWhile I hate robocalling telemarketers, too, this could be considered a denial-of-service attack and not a very good idea.
