I was called by a man with a Texas number (979-4844-7218) with a thick middle-Eastern accent claiming to be from a medical compensation company who was supposedly giving me money from Yaz/Yazmin, vaginal mesh etc... though I've never had vaginal mesh, nor used Yaz. I was instantly irate since they've called me fifty million times claiming this, and I'm not eligible for any such thing. Of course, I yelled at him, telling him to shove off, that I didn't qualify for such a stupid thing, and it was probably a scam, etc. After a moment, he started speaking to me lewdly and calling me names like "baby", although I had asked him on several occasions not to and he insisted that I be called such a thing by him... Naturally, my husband took the phone from me and demanded the guy's name. He stated his name was something like "Alex Brown," and started asking why I wouldn't want to be called baby, that I sounded like a baby... while my husband continuously told him NOT to call me anything like that, that he is the only man who can - seeing as he's my husband. Well, the idiot on the other line decides to pop off to my husband with stupid stuff like come find us and kill him, he'd rape me, saying that he was FBI in Texas, and we'd better watch out. My husband proceeded to ask the man for his boss/supervisor, but was denied contact and hung up on. We tried calling back, and got a different person (a female), and tried to get her to give us a contact number for a "manager/boss/supervisor", and told her we were someone who wanted her to contact her management as we were interested in having their company advertise for us... she said she'd get in contact with them and have them call us back. As for the last hour or so, we have not heard anything else... but we'd like this looked into, seeing as I've got major issues with being threatened with rape, etc..

This person has called me several times a day for days now.   It's always while I'm at work so I have only picked up once and it was something about a settlement.  Now I just let it ring.    If you try to call it back it is always busy.

I just scream on the phone.  Very, very loudly.  I also use my whistle when it's nearby.  But, it is India calling.  They want to swindle you like they have swindled thousands of us already.  Huge phone centers in India.  Legal American Indians purchase thousands of blocks of phones from Sprint, Verizon, etc.  When investigators here tried to interview these Indians they would not answer or they would run away.  These men live in very rich areas throughout our country.  These call centers know a great deal about us and they'll try to get 100 or 1000 from you.  Elderly women were crying on TV after being swindled by these criminals.  I refuse to purchase any products from India now.  But, honestly, get a whistle, or if you are able to, scream as loud as you can into the phone.  We're sick, we're tired, and we're not going to take it any longer.

I also received the same phone call twice now, about the settlement. He claims to be with US Medical Department.  Something really needs to be done.   I think they may have gotten my phone number from a job advertisment that I applied for on Indeed.  You just can't trust anyone now days!!!

I got the first call yesterday from a middle eastern man named Peter Brown (huh?).  I told him to remove me from his list and hung up.  He called back 2 times yesterday - i cursed, screamed, threatened suit.... Henry, his middle eastern friend called me just now.  I said, REMOVE MY # FROM YOUR F***ing LIST - THIS IS THE LAST WARNING and hung up.  This DB called me back and yelled at me???? So I hung up and called them back and talked to Allison, also Middle Eastern... and dumber than Peter and Henry.  I rtold her to remove my # - she said, But Maam, I didnt call you... UGH.....   I will file and a complaint.

Those guys in India are pretty good at using celebrities names.   You probably already know this, but,  Peter Brown was one of the co-stars on a weekly Western TV show   "Laramie"  back in the  Sixties .  It is still re-run regularly on cable.   That's probably where they also get their U.S.  law information.  I'll bet that other person that you talked to was   Henry Fonda or Winkler...

I am receiving many phone calls from US medical department... very annoying. Before, call comes as unknown nuber, but from few days number shows on ID that colombus, TX. They start talking  very unethical way... I am very sick and tired from these phone calls. One day my husband answered this call and told him to remove our number from the list.. in his his language... loud and clear, but still receiving calls

I received a phone call today, from the middle eastern India man, could barely understand him, I inquired who was North Carolina Medical Services and he kept repeating "his" name. I asked again and received the same answer. I told him when he could have an English speaking representative for me to talk to, then they could call back. I haven't received another "yet!"

this number called me and asked if they could speak to me and I replied I wasn't here and asked if they wanted to leave a message and that same guy with this funny accent just hung up in my face...I don't trust numbers or people I don't know.......I rally don't know the name of this company or who they represent all I know is that they need to be found because I think its people trying to run scams on innocent people and steal personal information of the people they are calling something needs to be done about this number.....

If these people are calling your cell phones there's an app on your phones called Mr. Number it's a great app if you don't want unwanted calls or text messages you can block all calls you don't want and text messages and this app is free... I just downloaded it and block this number again it's great I love it already......that app again is called ..........Mr. Number for all Droids and iPhones

I've called the FCC if you don't want telemarketers or bill collectors to call you here is the number to call to register your number.. 1-888-382-1222.. Or you can go to WWW.DONOTCALL.GOV this is for all harassing calls that you don't want coming to your landline or cellphones ..1-888-225-5322 ..That's the direct number to the FCC I'm trying to be as helpful as I can and you can also call to report these numbers to the FCC if they continue to call you just call the direct number they have data on all numbers if you can't find them or if they can't be pulled up from directory assistance I researched this number 979-484-7218 and couldn't find any information on it but I did locate the phone company that the number is affiliated with which is VoIP they didn't give me any info on this number but they suggested to me to call the FCC which is what I did and I will be calling them back Monday to find out who this number belongs to so that it can be reported properly.......

answered the phone, no one talking, just strange beeping/electronic sounds heard in the background. ran to the other room to show someone else in the house, then the number hang up.

This number has called me several times always asking for a slightly different version of my first name- the guy can barely speak English and one time I guess forgot he was speaking to an american and was speaking in a foreign language- He will not stop calling- would not tell me who he was nor what he was calling about nor the company.!!!

I just got off the phone with the Columbus Texas Police Department.  I spoke to, I must say, a beautiful Policeman, who told me that this number is one of the purchased phone numbers bought here in the States, and then used anywhere in the world.  I told him about the TV investigation here in the US which led to a call center in India.  The Policeman already knew how people purchase thousands of blocks of phone numbers from Verizon, Sprint, etc., and use these numbers to scam money out of people.  I did notice if you become irritated with them these people they will continue to call you back numerous times of day.  What pathetic creatures.  You do know that, "Little people, must win, at little things."  It's all they have or have accomplished in life.  Nothing.  Useless lives, useless beings.  God help them all.

I keep getting these calls from this number 979-484-7218 too. Usually they start by saying they are a medical department and I was due some compensation. I can hardly understand them. Their english is not very good. Once they called and said that since I have a clean criminal record that our government wants to send me $6000.00. I told him that if he thought I was going to give him any personal information that he was just plain crazy! Yesterday I received a call and he started talking, couldn't understand him very well. I said Who are you? What do you want? I was not very nice about it and he called me a f----ing [***]! I just hung up but these guys don't quit. They called me again today. Now I don't say anything, just hang up.

I am already on the "Do Not Call List" and they keep calling,  These people are ugly.

They will not stop calling and they are rude and not even in the U.S.  I have NEVER used this product and have asked them four times, four different calls to remove my name from their list.

Harassing phone calls (up to 10 times a day). I've asked to be taken off their list but they still continue to call. It seems to be the same man over and over and now he's asking me personal questions like if I'm on birth control...if I'm a virgin etc. Officially creeped out

Just stop picking up the phone. Your number will only stay in the system if you continue to answer.
