This is listed as the FAX Number for International Engineering Programs at Texas A&M.  Probably trying to send a FAX to a regular number and it will make several attempts to dial before "giving up"

Call center for Texas A&M Association of Former Students; telemarketers asking for donations to this school; very annoying.

Geez people, why the he11 do you call me to beg for money.  I sent a kid there for 4 years, [***] wasn't that enough money?  Don't bother me again, I'm not going to give you a damn thing except my air horn in your ear.

Why don't you use that thing between your ears for something other than a paper weight and tell them to put you on the do not call list.  I'm sure your kid would be proud of your attitude towards their school and your intelligence.

Since I never gave them my number, why should I have to.  Calling my phone after 9 pm in the evening is ridiculous.  Wrap your brain around that!

Obviously yours is a paper weight also.  You do realize you don't necessarily have to give them your number for them to call you.  If you've given your number to anything associated w/ the school they will likely have access to it. If you don't want to be called any more grow a pair and answer the phone and tell them to put you on the do not call list.  Take a little personal responsibility.

I'm glad I checked this site after finding 979 845 0425 on my phone, noted "Bryan TX," and did not simply call back.  The Former Students Assn badgered me so much for donations that I stopped giving to them long ago.  I now donate to the Corps of Cadets Assn, which doesn't pester you and, in my opinion, employs the funds reasonably constructively.   Unlike the FSA.

The lady on the other line butchered my last name and then when I repeated it correctly, she hung up on me. Some masterminds they have over at FSA. Put the number in my no answer list.

Please stop calling whoever you are! don't know you!

Reading these posts is embarrassing.  What a friendly, gracious bunch you people are.  So you got a phone call from A&M....you all act like you were victims of identity theft.  I'm guessing a few of you also suffer from severe road rage because someone didn't use their signal when getting in front of you (even though there was probably 4 car lengths and no harm was done).

Lighten up people.

I got a call from this number (979-845-0425) at 8:25pm today (Sunday) and I called it back at 8:40pm today (Sunday) - machine answered telling me to call back during regular business hours. The machine also said that it was from the association of former students like previous posts have mentioned.

Don't turn this into a ball-measuring contest. Those [***] called me on a Sunday night, and I can't even call them back within 12 minutes? No, I would have to make a [***] effort and call them during 'regular business hours'. [***] that. Piece of [***] telemarketers are not worth that effort.

Sadly, at least for me, it's not a question of balls. It's a question of having to make any effort at all for those [***].

And what the hell do you know about antiaggie's kid being proud or not? I graduated in 2012 and I'm going to grad school here in College Station. I couldn't give a [***] about anyone's opinion about the University, my parents included.

And paper weight - now that's where you could grow some balls. It's the internet for [***]'s sake. Sounds like your head is up your ass.

For those of you w/ cell phones, you can easily block this (and any) unwanted spam/sales type callers. I have Sprint & can type out what numbers I want blocked. No more calls from that number. EASY.

For other carriers - talk to them to see what you can do.
For land lines, not sure since I don't have one - but call your phone company to see.

They called my wife, a proud Aggie this week, we didn't donate, but gave them our joint email address, now we're getting 10+ spam emails / day.  That pisses me off, they're not getting a fricking dime now, plus I'm going to diss on them every chance I get online
