They claim to be calling from Breast Cancer Research. They call and as soon as you start to say no or don't call back, they hang up on you. They call for my grandma and she passed..when I try to tell them they hang up everytime.

I thought we had gotten rid of these people bugging you for money, remember?  No more calls for money.  What happened?  How do they get around it??  [***].         My wife is a cancer serviver, and we have donated enouth money for cancer.

Keep calling my house as early as 8am in the morning.  Do not leave a message. I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST. Something has got to be done about these calls.

Charities, along with some Survey's and Political calls, are exempt from the DNC, however, they can still get into trouble for not placing you on a internal DNC when asked, you can also check your states laws in regards.  Some states have different laws in regards to the calls,  which can differ from the federal.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or less. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

I didn't answer since I didn't know who it was. Caller ID had it Breas Cancer Am. I blocked it on my system. I do not want any more of these calls.

Please beware of any phone call trying to collect for a cancer charity. As featured on CBS/ABC news they give little to nothing to who(m) they collect for. Always good to give local, and check all charities out before you give to them. If they won't tell you how much they give, or if they are professional fundraisers (for pay) - hang up!

They call my home three and four times a day wanting money.  I don't think they are connected to Cancer Research in any way.  I have asked them not to call back; remove my name from their mailing list but they continue to call.

These folk have called my home 4 times in one day. When we answer the phone, they hang up. Totally frustrated with these calls.

They call every single day as late as 9 pm and even on weekends. As per other people reporting this number, I am not going to bother to answer even if to tell them to stop calling cause it does not seem to work!

It's a SCAM.. They use different 980 phone numbers.. They called for Allen and I told them you have the wrong number, but they said that's ok I'm calling about the Breast Cancer Society..blah blah blah, what credit card would you like to use for a donation?  That's when I hung up.. the Breast Cancer Society will send you a pledge in the mail for you to fill out and send back in with valid information on it that you can look up and verify..whenever anyone calls and wants your credit card information OVER THE PHONE, that's a big red flag.  Sick of these ignorant lazy people that can't make money the honest way.. ripping off people really shows what a waste of a life you are.. thanks for NOT contributing to society.. wish more people like you would die.

Called today; no message. Caller ID says Breast Cancer America

They called at 8AM on a weekend and woke everyone up.  My wife politely listened and declined to provide support.  I called the number to express my thoughts about the timing of their call and found their voice mail box full.  If they were legit, which I doubt, I wouldn't support any one who calls and wakes me up!!!  The Federal Trade Commission had identified them as one of a group of scams.

have received recurrent calls despite request to be removed from call list. they somehow gather names of breast cancer survivors which is a medical ethics violation in the first place.. the caller id says "Breast Cancer America."  Best to keep donations going to nonprofits approved on charitynavigator.com  and this one is NOT.

Record your conversation,  ask them nicely what is their company's name and location.  Let them know that in the of NC. The law states clearly that if they have been told do not call back, their is a charge of 500.00. Each time they call and that you have been recording this conversation and all other conversation's

Years of unwanted call's , from this number as well as other's.  This number 9802723792',  Breast cancer awareness calls 2- 3 times a day, stating my husband's first name,  I pretend to be an old .voice on the phone,  yes they hung up on me as well.
