I answered....they hung up on me

Has called me several times today. Never leaves a message.

They've called several times. I've never answered.

I received a call from 983-363-3633.  Whomever it was, didn't say anything, so I finally hung up. When I try to call back, I get a message that says: "The number cannot be completed as dialed, please check the number and try again."

When I answered they said it was a "national home security system" company and asked if I had a home security system. I asked how they got my number and they hung up.

Sounds weird, but my gut feeling is that this is a "feeler" to see what residences are protected as a way of "casing" future potential burglary opportunities.

Do not give this people any information, and if you don't have a security system, it's probably a bad idea to let them know that.
