I too received a call from 984-255-0432 but I answered and they just kept quiet until they just hung up
Where does this phone number go to? A persone? A Company?

I called the number back.  It is 1st National Collection Bureau.

Just received a call from this number.  I answered and then they hung up on me.   I called back and told the woman who answered what had just happened and she said she was sorry and would see why they called.  It's a collection agency and they were looking for a Carl Brooks.  I told her I have never heard of him and she said my number would be removed and to have a nice day.

I am becoming sick and tired of these calls.  I refuse to say my real name because then they call and ask for you!  SCAM SCAM SCAM

got a call silence hello hello , silence.  I wish there was a way to get these jerks to stop calling me.

Keep getting calls from 984-255-0432 & when I said hello, they just keep quiet...I keep saying hello, hello, hello...then they hang up! I finally called & it was answered by First National Collection Bureau.....what do these people want with me? I have not outstanding debt & don't even own a home!!

Please remove my phone # (760) 669-0358 from your calling list.    I have no business with your company and do not wish to be calkled again.  It is very roud to call someone or someplace and not speak!  Delete (760) 669-0358 immediately, please

This is the 2nd time I've received a call from this number.  Weird.  I wonder what they are up to.

Got a call and no one said anything. I called back and they said first national collections and asked for me. I said it was me. I'm not hiding since I know I don't have any over due bills our anything in collection. I refused to verify my dob or last four of my ssn and asked what they wanted. They still refused so I disconnected and added them to the reject list

I love that name, "1st National".  Do you think it is one of the respected "first national" banks that was chartered at the time of the Civil War?  Or is it just some jerk with a computerized dialer and a spreadsheet of other people's personal info that he bought from who knows where?  Hmmm, I think I know which.

No one ever talks, never leaves messages, and calls a lot.

This is a collection agency - First National Collection Bureau.  Do NOT answer if they call you, as they are looking to initiate a conversation to bring your debt back up and activate it.  If you ignore them and do not answer - they are not able to try to collect any monies from you.

They called me wanting my info and said I owed for a debt that I reported not mine.

I received a call with a message with verification numbers but no idea what for and why

Called at 1:30 pm, called a 2nd time at 2 pm. Left a 30 second silent message on the second call.

Wednesday 4/27/16 at 1:28pm, I answered but no response from other end
Thursday 4/28/16-8:10am and 8:40am, I answeted but no response from other end.

Monday 5/9/16- at 8:38am-I answered but silence on other end, then disconnected
Tuesday 5/10/16-12:50pm-I answered but silence on other end, then disconnected
I have called them back and a lady comes on and says, "This call will be recorded"  and when I tell her I am getting calls daily and several times daily,and when I answer, now one answers back and then hangs up.  she says so sorry about that, and what number are we calling?.  I just say well if you don't know,, then It must not be important, and then I hang up.

I believe that this is a debt collector that trys to reset uncollectible debts, due to statute of limitations.  There are attorney's that deal with these kinds of harrassments.  This company can actually be charged a fine,  for mailing and calling on very old debts that have been written off by the companies as uncollectible.  Usually bought from companies and they try and harrass and collect money by reopening the debt that has long been charged off.  My attorney says to forward him all mailed correspondence and log all calls and that he can file the paperwork for the fines.  So I just turn everything over to him and he handles it.  Several years ago another company tried this same tactics and he got them to stop.
