This number calls at all hours of the day. The latest call from this number was at 4am. I pick up and hear this weird noise on the other end, can't describe it. When I call it back, someone's answering machine picks up. It makes no sense at all.

Can anyone help me on what they want and why they keep calling?

I too have received calls from this number, it originates from Laplace, Louisiana. Other than that I can't help you. The one time I did get someone on the other line they asked a lot of personal questions. Examples: When was the last time you made love to your wife, ect. Just stuff like that

Just got a call from these people. I think it may be kids prank calling because the person on the other end sounded like a kid and asked stupid questions. I mean really stupid like one of them was "What color are your pants". All in all, I'd just ignore them or ask if your phone company can block the calls.

My caller ID showed the name as "The Schulz" so I assume its a residential phone number.

I'm almost certain these people are prank callers. They just called and were making all kinds of fart noises into the phone. I said don't call again, they called me the B-word and then laughed. Then I heard someone in background say "Get off that phone boy".

I think that points to it being a prank call.

It just so happens, I know this phone number. The people who own it live up the street. They have 3 kids and they play on the phone a lot, so if you get a call from them just ignore it and let your machine catch it.

Yep, exactly what Lisa said, my kid goes to school with their kids and he said that they were going onto some website that gave a list of phone numbers and were calling them off one by one.

I'm the original poster, anyway, I do not believe they are prank callers because if they are, they are really good at it. They just called and told me that I need to "renew my car insurance" However when I call the number back it still takes me to that answering machine

I do know my phone number is unlisted no matter what, I pay $15 a month to keep it that way. I've done internet searches for my number and nothing appears

However these people got my number, they left a message on my machine, it was a woman talking about how certain phone calls should be ignored and others should be reported. The she said something that was really indistinguishable then hung up.

Just received the same exact call, same message left on machine. Kinda creepy honestly. Mainly because these people may call everyday but I never get anyone on the other end.

I got the same message, I did however get part of the last part of what she said before it went fuzzy and cut off.

"Those who....." After that it got garbled and cut off. However I haven't seen a call from them since that message.

The calls are still coming in, they've slowed down from 5 a day to 2 a day. The only thing is, when I call the number back, it gives me a "this phone has been disconnected" message. No idea what is going on.

The calls have dropped to 1 a day. Its the same woman leaving the message about ignoring certain phone calls.

But like someone said, when you call the number it says the number has been disconnected.

I got two calls from this number today. The person on the other end was trying to sell a bottle of lotion.

I tried calling the number back but it said "This number has been disconnected"

These are a bunch of kids who go to school with my child. They call people up randomly. I have received calls from them. I have warned their father about it but she doesn't seem to care.

Got a few calls on my machine last night from this number. Since I live in Laplace I figured it was one of my co-workers asking me to cover for them. Called the number back and just got a loud beeping noise like a fax or something.

They called back this morning around 9am and left a message that sounded like they were speaking Spanish. They then called again not 30 minutes ago and asked to speak to my wife about the great time they had last night.

The thing is, I'm not married and my wife has been dead for 10 years. The person on the other end sounded young, not kid young but teenager young. Which leads me to believe this is a prank call.

The caller ID said "Residential"

I work for a business down in Laplace LA and we get calls from this number constantly. The ID either shows Residential or SH. Now I have to assume its a home phone number because Residential shows up the most. However these people call during peak hours and will sit there and not say a word until I am about to hang up at which point they make fart sounds into the phone.

I have reported them to the phone company today and hopefully they will put a stop to it.

Same Jim as above, I just got off the phone with the phone company, and they said the phone number hasn't been in use since August of Last year, they said most likely it was a spoof however they will look into it, since the SH were the initials of the last person who owned that phone number.

Update:

They have called me back on the issue and they have cut the service to that number completely. Apparently if you attempt to call it you will be directly connected to the phone company. Any calls from this number now are spoofed to appear as this number.

Got two calls from this in the past hour. I called back and got a family answering machine. So that Jim person above, either is lying or the phone company lied to him.

Either way the phone number still works and the people who own the number are still making pranks.

The messages they left, one was about selling lotion the other was about a used condom.

Got two calls from this number about 20 minutes ago one right after the other. The first time I picked it up since I thought it was my brother but the moment I picked it up it hung up. I heard a brief laughing noise then it hung up.

Second time they left a message on my machine stating something about "Protecting my property from vandals". Most of the message was garbled but that portion was clear as day. After it though it became garbled again.

Caller ID said "Faith"
