My wife thought it funny that I typed targetprizes scam into google before even going to targetprizes.com. Ironically, I think site this may give a more accurate representation than the actual website would have.  Our text message came through at 11:53pm (is that even legal?!), (985) 718-9913.

The time of day has nothing to do with the text. Just the fact you are receiving these texts is illegal--and you can stop them by notifying your cell phone carrier. Other posters who have used this method say it is successful. Just forward it to 7726 and they will take care of the rest.

Security company Cloudmark created a spam messaging reporting service that nation’s major wireless carriers agreed earlier this year to start using. Now, customers of AT&T Mobility, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint and others can forward their text spam message to 7726. The mobile phone carrier will ask customers for the phone number that’s linked to the spam message so they and Cloudmark can start investigating.

I have received this text a couple times and I think it's spyware cause my phone started doing all kinds of weird stuff after. Does anybody know exactly what it is?
