Got the Call around 10 AM and Caller was Male and supposed to be from Mazgoan Court Mumbai and told that there was a case for Fraud & Cheating

A person called around 12 pm and said he is calling from Mumbai Police and was trying to get information.

hey i got a call from 09891037977 mr. Vinod Chaudhary from Delhi Police and he is harassing me...

i got a Call from 919953424976 around 12: 30 PM and Caller was Male he called himself as vinod choudhary & supposed to be from Delhi and told that there was a case for Fraud & Cheating against me by advocate anand kapoor  and i have to come delhi to appear in delhi high court and for more details call mr anand kapoor at his mobile 09891037977.

now days spam mails are over .... criminals are using spam & prank call to cheat people...

I got a call from 9013083770 and told me that I am Ashok Chouhan from Delhi head quarter, there is a fraudulent and cheating 420 case against you, for details contact Anand Kapoor on 09891037977, I called this number and known they are fraud,,,,I request to Delhi Police kindly arrest them and punish them as soon

I got a call from 8750497132, fopr one call there is no number and another number  98913 98252.  Matter is same that a case was registred in my name and I should attend the court.  I never had any dealing with delhi or near by.  am from south.  just wondering. am receiving this calls since one year.  What is this nonsens?? any one can help.

I just got a call from 9013083770 and rest you all know. Relieved to see the previous logs. My advocate's name is also Anand Kapoor. But still trying to figure out what fraud I did.

I got a call giving my given name and my passport number, saying they are calling from Delhi police and hey have a case from Interpol against me. I asked him what is the offence, he said i dont know but your passport will be cancelled and you will be deported back to india. Your case is with Advocate SC Gupta call him on 07838627398.
I told him ok i will call and hung up. I never called. and never got a call back till now.
My passport name has a different name, and i am know by a different name locally, he gave my local name and not my passport name, but the passport number was correct. I knew it was a scam call.

Best way to deal with it is giving a cool reaction as if you dont care, the more they scare you the more cool u become, finally they will realize their tricks wont work.

Thankyou for that post, sir. Prank callers are at some points funny but at others, they just take it too far.
 
 Prank calling particular numbers is noticed as a Criminal Offence. Calling other numbers, claiming false    
 information about the victim is inappropriate behaviour. If you get another call from another prank callers or
 perhaps the same one, call/text my mobile and I will have some advice ready.

i got a call from some one from delhi police and a case has been registered aganist you and you have to come to delhi court and pay some money.They said i have a arrest warrent..How come a case go to delhi when iam from bangalore. and also the caller who identifies himself as delhi police tells me to out of court settlement and the advocate who he refered me says me to deposit money in his personal account...i know it us prank call but it is very disturbing..Delhi police should do something..caller numbers are 08750803015 and 7838784649.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

ABC News released an investigative report on this scam in June. The FTC has indicted one of its ringleaders for criminal fraud:

I also received a call from DElhi Police 8750803015 a case registered against me and the advocate Ansal Sharma 7838784649 who has registered case against me. Really very disturbing - then I went through internet and search google for this number. I got it as fraud call. Thanks to internet & google

Hope itw should be a prank because they dont share any particular about the case. also i am based out of south india.... never visited delhi.

Even i got a call by name vinod choudry he says he is from Delhi crime branch this is the no in which he called me +918750803015.
He says that there is a case of cheating and fraud against me.

Although i know its a prank call it harrasing me mentally.

and also i have noted in this post that this is a repetitive issue done by same group pls i request you to resolve this issue so that it would save plenty of innocents life.

I got a call from 7620147203 and said he was Sub inspecter and I have a warrant against me I have to appear in Mumbai Royal jabar court. he asked me to call a lawyer rahul bharadwaj, who number is 7600939437

I recieved a call from 837-581-2237  saying the guy (Mr. Sadbeer singh) was from patiala house court notice dispatch department. And said I had to be present at my address on 3 pm the next day for some case amounting to Rs. 95000/- For negotiations he gave me the number of Advocate Tarunkun number 09650382100. Cse number FIR - DLA/406/2013.

i also get the call from Delhi high court against any case. But i ingore it...number was 8376942159
But my question is how to find those people who do like that...?Plz answer budddy

Same case happened to me today. Same names, same ph. no., same case no., call frm same off. (P.H.C.). So, what step u r going 2 tak agnst thm??? Don't leave them. i'll suggest u to file an FIR, so tht it'll help other innocnts.
