Some guy left a message asking for my dad....who has been in a nursing home for almost a year...by full name. Guy never gave his name, company, or anything, just said he'd call at a later time. Most likely a scam of some sort.

got a call from1-989-220-3260 @ 12:14pm on 10/24/2014 never answered it so don't know who or what it is

They called around 4:45 PM today. No message. Google search on the number and found this:

A man who said he was calling for Dish Network called me 3 times from this number.  He called me a pessimist like his father the 2nd time he called me after I told him that I wanted to talk with some friends first to see if Dish Network had good customer service before considering getting it.  The 3rd time he called, I said I didn't want to do business with someone who puts others down.  He started yelling at me, telling me that he was a great salesman and that he was only telling it like it was when he called me a pessimist.  I told him that a good salesman doesn't put potential customers down.  He then yelled at me that he was a better person than I was and then hung up on me.

got a call today, when I picked it up no one answered. But good to know that it seems to be "unimportant" as I live in the 989 area and could have been a friend. Will definitely ignore next time, but it is aggravating with a baby that takes naps throughout the day...

Called at 12:35 pm, left no message, caller ID read SAGINAW MI. Other sources say this numbers "In Service Date" is 04/07/2001, Carrier is Bandwidth, SMSEnabled, some sites say its in Saginaw, Bay City, Cadillac, and Mumbai, India. Anyone hear an Indian accent? Or other voices in background indicating a call center?
