Caller ID said, "Michigan."  Quit ringing after 3 rings.  An obvious junk call from a political caller or telemarketer using a robo-dialer.  I'm on the "Do Not Call" list, but it's a national joke.  The only way to stop these idiots is to block their numbers.

I just got one also..rang, no message! (898) 391-3062 I am supposed to be on the Do not call list too.

I called  back and a recording says they are the American Legion Post 18 in Bay City Michigan.

I just got one too and refuse to answer if they do not identify themselves.  I  have that message on my phone answereing system. Googled the number and got this site. I am on the do not call list also.

yeah....i got a call from that number too.Same thing happend and when i tryed to call back. its would show DAME on the phone which mean i get charged for calling them back.One time i called back and there would be buzy tone which comeplete BS.So whach out its maybe cellphones comp's way of charging people more.

Received call from 989-391-3062 at 5:20 pm and I am on the do not call list and making report right now.

I got a call also and no message left.  I am also on the do not call list.

I had same thing as above. Not for profits are not under the "do not call" law and they can do what they want.

Lady identified herself as being with the Saginaw American Legion and was soliciting for donations, clothes, etc. for Christmas for kids

the american leagon is a legit thing, I use to work for their bingo hall. they do a lot for homeless people and vets. they are normally good peeps. same with the VFW. jsut drive around with that little red poppy on your rearview mirror and they will not stop you on the road for donations.

DNC List doesn't apply to political or non-profits, i.e., polling and agencies asking for the promise of a handout. However, these groups should not be calling your cell phone as this is NOT legal unles you offered it to them for that purpose.

If it upsets you like it does most people- CONTACT YOUR LEGISLATORS IN WASHINGTON, D.C. and demand change.

The DNC List IS a joke when it comes to off-shore outfits use of robo-dialers and number spoofing for the purpose of direct sales or conning people.  But, this was a problem BEFORE the DNC Registry was started and the FBI and other agencies do work to nail down those people,

Looks like their starting up early.............Political calls for the November elections.  Do yourself a favor, if your current phone doesn't have call blocker..........GET ONE THAT DOES.............it's a GODSEND.  I had enough of the CONSTANT calls during the August Primary.........AND that yahoo that's with the Credit Card Rate BS......... got a Panasonic that allows for blocking up to 30 calls.   IT WORKS.  It rings ONCE,  and then they're immediately disconnected.  This number just got added.  

Received a call from this number yesterday.  Decided to look it up to see who they are.  What upsets me is if they are "legitimate" they should show their name on my Caller ID.  I think I will do what a caller above has done and redo my message to state that if you can't show your name on my Caller ID I won't answer.  Doubt it will help though.
