This is a collection agency called GCB Group out of Chicago that is "spoofing" their phone number to show up on the caller ID as a Michigan call. They have never validated the debt by mail and are a big pain in the butt with constant calling. I block their calls and they switch to another number which I also block. Now they are "spoofing" their number but not fooling anyone.

Just called me.  I don't know what they were pitching today, since I hang up and file a complaint with donotcall.gov the instant I hear "This is WCA calling". Somebody please stop these charlatans!!

Receiving calls from 989-413-3181 and 989-399-0518, I do not have anything in collection!!!  How do they get these numbers.

This was not a debt collection agency calling me. It was a recording trying to sell me insurance. Many unscrupulous companies probably use the same fake number.

They've called me with different numbers as well, with a recording. I hate these type calls, especially when my cell is registered with the do not call registry. I've filed a complaint with the registry about these people. Hopefully there is a way to stop them from spoofing, to me that seems like fraud. False representation to trick people into answering their calls. I think that is wrong, especially when it comes to cell phones and the costs associated to answering some calls.
