This is the 3rd phone call from this jerk.  He says he is from "Windows Security System" and my computer was going to crash.  The first time I listened to him, unfortunately gave him access t my computer and he brought it down, and I had to have It professionally repaired.  The second time I told him to take a hike and hung up.  The third time I didn't answer the phone.  How can I get rid of jerks like this.

July 22, 2015  4pm  call from 989-435-2363.  "Sam" with heavy eastern accent from "Microsoft Security".  This is the umpteenth time same call, different phone no. and name, rest the same.  I'm on the national DNC list, it means nothing to these idiots.

I interrupted him, said do not call again, I have reported you already, etc.... he was still talking when I hung up.

Why can't the gov't do something about these foreign scam artists?

Yeah, I got a call from these people today too. They're a well known scam group and their scam is the aimee scam. I'm looking into how to report them and would love to do so if I figure it out. Basically, their whole racket is they try to get you to use a team viewing software which lets them have control of your computer to eradicate the "virus" that they "found" . Once inside, they download a virus that you need to pay to get rid of, they delete system files, and they get into your banking information. Very dangerous to go through with what they want you to do.

    My conversation as follows:

"Hello, this is <   > from Microsoft, are you the primary operator of the computer?
    Me: "Yeah"

"I'm calling today to report viruses on your computer that are showing up on our server. I'm assuming that you are in front of the computer?"
Me:"Listen, I'm not going to lead you on anymore. I know about your scam and I won't waste anymore of your time."
    "You're making a big mistake!"
Me: "No. No, I'm not. Goodbye."

Next time if they try again, I will probably leave manners to the wayside. They are literal scum.

He keeps saying I am having trouble with my computer.
When I tell him that I am going to report him, he hangs up.

Annoying calls.  This is a landline and it is a scam.  It comes up as Beaverton, MI.  Apparently, this person has unlimited calling and has time on his hands.  I ignore it.  They hang up.  It is just annoying.  I wish someone would invent something on the phone that you could press so the scammers and harassment phone callers would receive a negative message/sound when they called.  This guy is calling about Microsoft Windows--Bill Gates would never hire him.

Forget the government--I wish some technology genius would add a phone button, that when pressed would give the scam/annoying caller a negative sound/message.

The broken english, Indian sounding caller said he was from Windows security division. He kept asking me if I was the "responsible party" for my windows computer. A problem was reported to their office.I said, " Which computer? there are many in my house."  He said the main computer that you use, tell me about this computer. When I asked why are you calling me and why should I give you info ....he hung up.

Received a call from this number. Said they were from Microsoft Security..  There was something wrong with my computer.  Since this was the fourth call from this outfit,  I told him I knew who they were and hung up. (The first call from this outfit, I followed their instructions, let them have access to my computer and they brought my computer down.  I then had to pay $ to get it repaired).

I see they tried to reach me twice today while I was out, left no message. If you ever do get sucked into answering, thank them for their offer, tell them you want their help, and ask which of your three computers had the problem. I did that once and it was hilarious. They could tell my computer had a problem, but they couldn't tell which computer? Give me a break....
Basically, I don't answer my phone unless I know who is calling. If it's important they'll leave a message.
