Left a message identified themselves as "credit card services" and that they could lower our interest rates. The "special offer" would be expiring soon...so act quickly and call. Yeh right! Blocked.

Call came in at 11:53 am on June 5, 2014, Caller ID was Unknown Name, 989-623-6505.  I wasn't home, and it went to my Sentry Call Blocker, where it is now specified as "Rejected".  Lovin' that machine!

CID shows as Bad Axe  MI. It's card services again advising me that they can lower my credit card interest rate (ie: try to sucker me for my credit card number). I have NOMOROBO, but this was one of the very few calls that it missed. I immediately reported it to NOMOROBO, so it will no longer get thru here after this afternoon.

Oh good for you, more people need to do this for everyone, I use voipo, they don't support nomorobo, but they have their own "patrol" and block known scammers if you report them too, and we can block or ??? get rid of them if we keep working at it, we may not get rid of them all, but put a huge dent in their awful life-style of scamming, they need to use their talents for bettering the world, hear that you creepy yuks?

Same thing here, non stop ongoing last warnings that we will be dropped from their list. I seriously went off on them this last call and I hope I caused some hearing damage. I am tired of these crooks having free reign to call and harras me when ever they feel like it.

Pricks called while I was away. Now into my Digitone Call Blocker. Up to 43 numbers after a month.

My answering machine shows several calls from 989-623-6505  - "Bad Axe MI" - No message left.

Recorded message from "Sarah" at Credit Card Services saying it is urgent for me to call back to lower my credit card rate.  I'm on the federal do not call list.  I'm reporting this call there as well, for whatever good that will do.

"Sarah" told me THIS WAS MY LAST CHANCE to reduce my credit card rates. I've only had about 500 other LAST CHANCES the past decade. And this was my 300th complaint to the do-nothing-at-all FTC that manages the Do Not Call List. I don't know whose worse -- these scammers, or the FTC.

The thing is, the FTC can't do anything about companies that use a machine that dials random numbers (Robocalls).  Whether you're on the 'Do not call' or not an electronic auto-dialer doesn't have the capability.  That's how companies get around that 'Do not call' list.  They're a bunch of weasels.

  They called here recently, too. I missed their call. .... Oh darn, what am I gonna do? I hope I haven't offended them, I couldn't live with myself if I did. Oh well, They don't have to worry about us missing their calls ever again, .... 'cause This # has been added to the $hit Li$t on our 'puters PhoneTray Free program along with more than 360 others, and they'll NEVER get through, ... Ever again! HA HA HA!! (Evil Scientist Sounding).

  ALSO, Thank You to All the supporters of this site for making it so much easier to identify these scamming Telemarketers (TMs) and for sharing your Technology solutions, and for your continuing cautions to the newbe's who are having to deal with these idiots for the first time.  

I use a Bel-Tronics Limited AD100 Caller Id/Blocker.  I can reject the number and the next time they call, the phone rings once and they get a message stating that I no longer accept calls from them.  It an old box but works great!  There is probably better technology available now but why change?

I got my first call from this number today. I did not answer and it went to voicemail but no message was left. This one of about 7 scam/robocalls I got today and this happens nearly everyday of the week. About two months ago I bought a Panasonic phone system that is capable of blocking up to 250 numbers. I think I have about 60 numbers on there now. It seems to be the only way to deal with these morons. I do not hear a ring or even know that a block number has called unless I check the Caller ID list. It works great and has provided me a tremendous of relief. And no, I don't work for Panasonic.

Called..didn't leave a message..but by reading the other posts, I can see that it is about credit cards and better interest..I have received similar calls on this and have reported them before..but they must have several different numbers they use..frustrating!!!! It seems like every time my phone rings anymore, its telemarketers!!! Sickening!!!

I also have that same Call Blocker.  Must be at least 20 years old.  It only stores 99 blocked numbers and then I have to go through and will delete ones that have only called once and are over 3 or 4 months old.  My Comcast phone will only let me block 10 numbers I think so I've stayed with this.  I've found it is tricky sometimes to change the battery without losing all the numbers.  :-)

Consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.
