I got a couple calls from this number as well. He said the same thing about word for word as some others have posted. Don't do anything he says. He has a thick Indian sounding accent. When you see his number don't pick up its your best bet.

After seeing this # several times on our caller id, I thought I'd answer it. The man had a thick indian accent, asking for my husband & asking about who the primary use is on our computer? Weird.  I told him we were on the "DO NOT CALL LIST" and to please not call again, Somehow I don't think that'll be the last call...

I've gotten a call a day since last week from 999-910-0132, when I say hello a female with a heavy E. Indian accent (so heavy I can barely understand her) wants to know if I am the primary computer user in my house. Then she tells me she's from my computer company and that my computer has downloaded a virus. I asked which computer was she talking about. She repeated what she said. So I told her I have 7 computers and don't know which one she's talking about (I do have 7 sitting here, for repair's and upgrades)...she hung up on me.

The next call a female with the same thick accent repeated the same as the first. I asked what company did she represent, but she gave me the same speel again so I asked what computer did I have that downloaded the virus that was destroying my hard drive. She asked again if I was the primary user of the computer. I said I was but what computer was she referring to. She hung up.

This happens once a day and today I got the call again. This time she said her name was Allysia and she was calling from my computer company and read off the same old claim. I said there is no way my computer has a virus or downloaded one because of all the security I have on it. She hung up. So I expect tomorrow I'll get the call again and I'm going to pretend I'm a cop that's traced where she's calling from and that I will be having the International police kicking in her door shortly. That will probably put an end to the calls. Or maybe I shouldn't because I'm starting to like hearing from these people while I'm using the same accent LOL

I have also recieved several calls from this company. Each time they call, I tell them I have securtiy on my laptop and have no problems.  I asked to be removed from their calling list and they hang up before I am finished with my request!!  I want them busted!!  They are going to get into a unsuspected users computer, it is worrysome for me...young trusting students, the elderly...I want the fraud to stop!!

Posed as troubleshooter, got into my system, used a "safe code" to get into my computer. Claimed my machine has been hacked into and infected with a virus. Tom and John, heavy Asian accents. Wanted to install "lifelong protection" for $130. I balked. They have my name and number and have been calling incessantly. I'm concerned that they might have planted something in my computer that allows them access.

Same person; same accent; same scam I guess. When he said I had been hacked I said it was impossible because I have no internet; he was really surprised and then apologized for the mistake! LMAO! I am worried about these people though; don't know if it is possible for them to access my computer or did they just want my personal info & C.C. number?

I got one of those calls every week for a couple weeks.  Then 2 days ago they tried again, and I said don't call back.  Then a man called that evening and I told him the same thing.  He apologized and said he would remove my name.  So far so good, but I'm not fooling myself!!!

I've gotten a few calls from this #, didn't know it so I ignored them. Today I answered and it was the female with a thick accent, same speech about my computer needed fixing. I started drilling her asking how she knew anything about my computer and that I don't authorize stuff like that, I didn't even let her answer the questions. I told her that I knew she was a hacker and I was going to call the FBI and sue her company. I hope they've taken my number out of their auto-dialer.

Same guy for two weeks. Wanting to talk to "Mr. Hayes" . No mister Hayes at this number. He says he is trying to find the owner of the computer at my phone number. I told him we don't have a computer ( we do...doesn't everyone) and to take me off his call list. Today the same guy calls. I told him "I yelled at you yesterday don't you remember?" He keeps saying "no" I ask to speak to his supervisor. He again says "no". I get mad and he asks "Where you at? "  DUDE REALLY ?!!!!  I said "excuse me?" and he hangs up with "f*#k you".

Just received a call from 999-910-0132. Man with thick Indian accent (dot not feather) who was asking if he could connect me with his technical team to determine the damage to my computer from files that were downloaded. I asked what company he was with and he said "Computer Alert". I asked how he knew the phone number associated with my computer? He said he identified it from the router so I asked him the mac address of the router. He said it was hooked up to the computer with Microsoft operating system. I told him I don't use Microsoft ( I don't). He said it was a router hooked up to a Mac or Microsoft and I told him I don't use either ( I use Linux on all my computers). After asking a series of questions about his company and how he was able to identify my computer with my phone number I told him to connect me to his technical team because I wanted to talk to them (I had more questions than answers for them). He said stand by and the call was disconnected. I think the suspicions on this page are correct. Either hackers trying to get access to computers or possibly attempting to gain personal information for credit card fraud or identity theft. Luckily I was able to network his phone call through VOIP on my computer to network any computer IP's that were associated with his phone and those will be turned over to a Fraud Protection Agency. Hopefully something will be done.

Same story here, they've called a few times this week, every time I ask them to take me off their call list.  They just interupt and try and tell me about my computer and are VERY RUDE! I'm on the do not call list and very sick of these indian people calling me every day!
