A nuisance call that I wish would stop

Keeps calling my house too. Never when I'm home though.

Fourth call from this number over the past two weeks, always gets my wife who will not answer his questions.

what kind of questions do they ask?
is it a phishing call?

I got a call from a guy with a strong English accent (Indian or Pakistan)
It is a phishing call. He said he is calling from Microsoft to resolve an attack that was done on my computer via Internet
To resolve it he needs to have data buried inside the computer.He was  guiding me to dig the data. Ah! Ah!
I told him to send me and e-mail and a phone number where I can call him back
He refuse and argue the urgency then started to swear .......

Finally after the 5th call in 2 days, I answered.   He had such a strong accent that I couldnt even understand him but, I did finally get something about an attack on my computer....so I just hung up! ANNOYING

I just received the same call about a Windows Defender problem.  How can we stop this guy? ..Someone stupid is going to get their computer hacked INTO...apparently this guy is trying to get into peoples personal information or something!

I got this call and waited about 10 seconds and a woman with an accent said goodbye!  This was shortly after the Earthquake..... Hmmmm

I just got a call from this number.  After several seconds a woman's voice said Goodbye and hung up.

Yeah I finally answered and they were calling to help to stop my computer from destroying the planet and ending humanity.... I hung up

Received harassing calls for two days. Pick up - no one says a word for several minutes then a woman's voice says "Good bye!" How can we stop these idiots?

Since Monday I have gotten 10 calls from this number. I may answer next time and give them the what for. They do have an accent and it seems to be at least 1 man and 1 woman

time to do some research....

Had enough of this crap... called telling me wife about the computer thing, told her our computer was sending out error messages, needed us to "change a couple settings in PC", calls and says nothing then the damn chick... "good bye" ....

I'm bored.... time to do some homework.... lets see what we can find out...   ;-)

I have received three of these in the last month.  I like to play with them.

I just received one a few minutes ago.  I was able to keep the guy on the phone for an entire hour, pretending like I didn't know what he was talking about.  Finally, I told him my screen had some funny letters on it.  I asked him to write it down, because it was a message to him:

F as in farm
U as in unicorn
C as in cream ....
Then you can imagine where I went with that (I'm watching my language on-line here).

Then, I hung up.  He called back twice more to harass me.  I figured, at a minimum, I prevented him from harming others.  :)

I get this phone call every week> Hard to understand with a strong accent. They even ask for me by name. Then told i have had an attack on my computer, my reply is "what computer?" He says your desk computer> I laugh and tell him I do not have a computer, they hang up. And call again the next week> This is so annoying they even call in middle of night.

Calls repeatedly but never leaves a message when I don't answer.

Why is this number not covered in Do Not Call list?????

They called me & said mr. Smith I said wrong # then he said my computer had crashed. So I said OMG!!!, he asked me 2 turn on my computer I told him he was right it crashed & wouldn't turn on how did he know ect.,ect. The next thing & the part that worries me & should everybody is he called me by my first name, & said u are joking with me saying my first name again. He was  middle eastern, I called him a mother f**ker & he called me 1 back. Big  time scam, but try to have fun & mess with them waste there time but do not give them any info about yourself because they know more then you think

I have been getting calls every hour for 2 days. No one leaves a message or answers. I would like to know how to report these low lifes. I have to clear my caller id even though they do not leave a message.

I have been getting numerous phone calls from this number over the past couple of days and noone ever responds when I do answer except for the computer woman's voice saying goodbye.  I figured it must be some sort of telemarketer or something along that line.  Now that I see others saying what they have gotten from this number (being told that their computer is having problems, crashing, etc.) I know to just have either completely ignore the calls, which is hard to do since they call every hour or two, or if I would get the guy, give him some harassment and have fun telling him off.
